Regurgitation is common and normal with animals but quite rare and abnormal in humans. Regurgitation takes place when mixture of gastric juices and sometimes undigested food,rises back up the oesophagus and into the mouth. In adults, involuntary regurgitation is a common symptom of Acid reflux and Gerd,it may also be a symptom of Rumination disorder which is rare. In babies regurgitation is normal within the first year of life but not normal with adults. Causes of regurgitation in adults are : Acid Reflux: A condition that is characterized by reflux,heart burns and bad breath and the common triggers are "eating large meals,eating certain foods and lying down soon after eating. Gerd:This occur when acid reflux occurs multiple times per week which is called gaestrooesophageal reflux disease. Rumination Syndrome:This causes frequent regurgitation of undigested food and often happens right after eating a meal. Though it's rare but common among few humans. Yesterday I met someone who could regurgitate like animals do and I was amazed,right before me he began regurgitating immediately after a meal(Rumination syndrome) and when he was done,he was able to eat another meal comfortably and it threw me off balance. So how many of you can regurgitate here or have met someone who could regurgitate like animals do?

As in bring up something from inside the stomach to your mouth and start chewing all over again like goats do? That would be weird and disgusting. Could be compared to eating your vomit!

Yes I met one recently and it was weird

Lolz many people do that and that’s not weird to them at least !!! I know 2 people who do that and they don’t have bad breathe ......I think it’s caused by poor digestion of food !!!

no dispute but if u research well one who regurgitates can actually control it ...... He may decide to do so or keep the food down .... do u know some yoga guru use regurgitation to control the belly muscles.....This guy I’m talking about will swallow a full fish without chewing immediately he can bring it back and start chewing... only a few of us know about it... at occasion and events he keeps it down ....

me too, and my breath is good. I bring back what I've eaten but it's not intentional and most times I'm not even aware of it, it's those around that would be asking "what are you eaten?". If you give me an oily food to eat (which I hate) I do regurgitate mostly the oil part and spit it away, same with anything I ate but don't like. Including drugs.

I hardly chew meat that well at first but, after I'm done eaten it come right back into my mouth. My woman hates it and each time she want to snuggle and I'm not in the mood I simply tell her I will vomit on her and she always avoided me.

I only swallow it back if the test is still fresh otherwise I spit it right out.

Its been part of me since my childhood days,I see noting bad in it.I dnt have a bad breathe.I blive its just nature at play same as ability in rolling your tongue.We humans are complex and unique and our own different ways.
