Dammyseyon: North had been under the siege of the FG since 2009 when Yaradua was travelling out of the country and instructed the army to crush all the elements of Boko Haram, that was when Boko Haram first took up arms and attacked government institutions. Today, South East people are going the same path, attacking and killing security agents and setting security facilities ablaze. Different ideologies and demands but the same path of destruction. Before you know it, displacement of innocent people will follow. Anyway, UK has offered asylum for the displaced people |

maasoap: I admire informed people, you absolutely right. But if we are to go by your observation, the east is on the path to be another insurgent ground for killings and displacement. Another thing is, how many displaced IPOB can the UK absorb? This matter no be small thing oo |

They got it wrong when they started attacking security agencies and prisons. If they were to limit their action to defending their land from bandits the whole world would have supported them as bandits now operate with impunity as if we have no government |

The joint intelligence team had earlier interviewed several arrested IPOB/ESN terrorists in connection with the April 5 attacks and they all confessed that Ikonson Commander who was named as Vice President by their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was the one that mobilized men and resources as well as ordered and orchestrated the attacks on Owerri. They equally revealed that Ikonson was responsible for many other attacks on Police stations across the two geo-political zone. Lol! Igbos no get mind at all. See them sing like a cannery. 1 Like 1 Share

The killing of ESN Commander in the heart of the operational base of ESN in Imo has not only exposed the tactical weakness of ESN Operatives but also the tactical daftness of Nnamdi Kanu as a leader. KANU is nothing but a fraudulent fellow, a fraudster parading as an angel/Messiah |

How's it possible that the police can track and kill this man within month or two of various attacks but can't track down bandits that kidnapped various citizens and even destroy villages in the North. Mind you its only sheik Gumi that know their location and he's not sharing the info with the police, lol. Na everyday una dey give Igbo reason to want to leave Nigeria. *** I'm not saying I'm in support of the various attacks in the East o, but put in the same efforts to root out northern bandits and criminal elements amongst the herdsmen too. Then we can say we're one |

Just some weeks ago, some clown descended on me when I said Ipob is behind the unknown gunmen killing innocent police officers mostly of Igbo origin in the south east. Now that Ikoson has been killed, they can no longer argue. Hopefully, common sense will prevail and south east won’t be turned to another North east. 1 Like |

7 Igbos down, 4 Nigerian security men down, not bad sha. As Buhari feels that any agitation against his government must be met by force, then force he must see. This is exactly how Boko Haram started, initially Nigerian government were having upper hand, but they keep regrouping and coming back stronger, just wait and this guys will come back more deadly. This means Nigerian Army will now fight on two fronts. Buhari should and must talk to Igbos otherwise the agitations will continue to grow strong and attract more members especially the youths. Anyone who thinks the southeast governors wild more influence than Nnamdi kanu in the eastern region is deceiving himself. |
