Hi everyone, I have a question. I’m applying for my study permit but I’m seventeen. Will that affect anything? I created the account in my own name and added an application for my mum who will be traveling with me. Is it okay for me to submit the application through my own account? Will there be any issues? Also is this LOE compulsory? It’s not part of the required documents on my portal. |

Winner0718: Oh, I must have misinterpreted what you wrote, cause I understood it that you meant MBS Tickets cannot be generated by Mobile App whereas they can. My apologies. {It’ll Surely End in Praise for us All} |

haywhy0007: Hello Haywhy0007, I don't believe so. However, to stand a better chance, a good POF/financial strength should be well demonstrated when applying. It solely depends on the discretion of the officer. Best of Luck |

childgodly: Hello Childgodly, As a minor, hope you are aware that you need a custodian in Canada who is a PR/Citizen and you are required to fill the IMM 5646e Form same as the custodian. It also should be notarized by a notary public. The LOE is not compulsory but important. I believe your mom is accompanying you so to help you settle? Your age doesn't affect your application processing/visa chances if you meet eligibility. About the created GcKey account in your name, you are right on track. Best of Luck |

Olamiikunle: Hello Olamiikunle, It will be better if you maintain or keep to your experience line. Once approved and upon landing, you can effect the switch to your preferred study interest. Steer away from an Ordinary Diploma and go for a PGD. Best of Luck 1 Like |

will be requiring your expertise as i commence this journey and put my documents together. Initial reason for refusal for Visiting Visa in Dec 2018 & Feb 2019 are below: 1. Leaving Canada based on Family Ties in Canada & Nigeria 2. Leaving based on purpose of visit 3. Personal Assets & Financial Status. Upon the second application it was refused based on Purpose of Visit only. I know my SOP/LOE for the Student Visa needs to be very detailed and am willing to commence work on it asap to ensure i leave no stone unturned. From the last visa refusal in Feb 2019, family ties has become stronger as i didn't have my kids then. Will greatly appreciate all support from yourself and other gurus in the house for a successful application. Course - MBA St John - Fall 2021 (hoping i can pull this through) POF - Sufficient and excess funds for Tution and Living Expenses Family Ties - Kids, Husband and Parents. Landed properties in my name Employment - Stable Employment with 1 yrs experience. Reason for study is Career Progression. N.B - Would love to have my twins go with me as they are relatively young (less than 3 yrs), but considering the complexity i am considering applying for them after my SP has been approved. Implication will mean deferring my admission when granted. I have a sister who lives in Canada, while the other one has a Canadian PR but resides in the USA. Thank you for your suggestions, advise and support as a i am positive of a successful application. @frankrobbyn, @justmellow @lekkiboboe and other gurus in the house. Pls assist. |

marcelonwa: Hello Marcelonwa, You are not violating any rules here since your resumption intake hasn't yet commenced, hold on to the new LOA for a while until after the stipulated date for your resumption. Best of Luck |

JustMellow: You’re so kind thank you!!! About this IMM 5646e form thing though, it didn’t come up as part of the required forms when I created my account. I’ll double check though. And yes my mum is accompanying me to help me settle in. Thank you for all your help. |

childgodly: Don't submit your application without the IMM 5646e Form. Though on some occasions, it will be requested but don't take that chances. If you have no "responsible adult" in Canada as termed by IRCC to stand as a custodian, reach out to your DLI for further advise or help. |

Good evening people. Please what do you think about this? I'm thinking, applying for office administration in canada is like a watered down course that might not be able to convince the visa officer. Although i have work experience in that. I'm thinking of taking business administration instead ot what do you guys think? Also office admin is a one year course while the other is a two years course |

Hello house, happy sunday and thanks to all the gurus here. I applied for a post grad diploma in business mgt. I am awaiting my visa approval but will like to know few things as I desire to switch career path and possibly change my DLI upon landing. I av seen people talking about letter of enrolment as a requirement at the port of entry. Does it mean I have to enroll for my courses with my currently DLI before I land even tho I intend switching? Also, do I need to inform my sch upon arrival that I will be switching and do not wish to continue with the program? Someone should kindly clarify. |
