Right. Money begets money. The bigger your money is, the easier it will be to make more money. And money brings success.

1. The league is structured in a way that the rich keeps getting rich while the poor gets screwed. It doesn’t provide a level playing field for all teams. The revenue sharing formula rewards past league standing instead of starting afresh each season.

Bayern have been receiving the lion share of this revenue for quite some time. They’ve cemented their position. This is why they keeps getting richer and richer while other teams kent.

It’s not fair.

2. The 50+1 rule even makes it harder for any team to offer any serious competition to Bayern.

No team can get any financial support that will make them competitive. They always have to sell players to stay afloat- and strive to make it to the near top so that they can continue to get favorable revenue at least.

Will BvB not provide good competition for Bayern if they could hold on to Lewandowski, Himmels and co during that era?

3. Everyone knows Bayern poaches talents. They are just more brazen about it these days (first image) and teams are starting to complain.

Look at the best players in the BuLi for the last 15 years. (PoTy). The only player on that list who didn’t play for Bayern Munich and left their team to another BuLi team different from Bayern is Marco Reus. And that’s because of his injury woes. If Bayern wanted him they’d have gotten him.

They’re all either Bayern rejects or potential Bayern signings.

Bayern have already signed that outstanding RBL defender Upamecano. A direct rival, I must say.

Also, why does Bayern account for 80-99.99% of the top 10 most expensive BuLi to BuLi transfers?

So where is Bayern expected to get their players from? The last player Bayern signed from Dortmund was in 2016 since then Dortmund have sold many of their top players elsewhere, yet they will complain that its Bayern causing their problem

Ole clearly expected Bielsa to set Leeds up similarly to the first game, whilst Bielsa did anything but.

Leeds played for a point and set up a low block. This meant Dan James was pretty much useless and whilst McTominay and Fred were excellent at breaking up play, they don't offer enough creativity to unlock a packed defence.

Think it's safe to say that Cavani and Pogba should've been on sooner, but then you risk Leeds reverting to their usual style.

All in all, not a bad result, but obviously not a great one. This team beat City and drew with Liverpool, and have played far less games this season than us. Top 4 is all but wrapped up so a few draws at the end of the season whilst we focus on getting some actual silverware is far from the end of the world.

The issue here isn’t ONLY poaching but that you poach from the only team that has any chance at all to win the league.

In your other example, you mentioned RVP. Were Arsenal in any title race when Man Utd got RVP? When the two teams were neck and neck like Bayern/Dortmund are today, did they do any business?

How come Wenger didn’t sell Henry to Man Utd in early 2000? How come SAF didn’t sell Scholes to Arsenal in 2002? Bayern Munich continue to raid Dortmund without morals that they are killing off the competition and your response is a long winded false equivalencies.

The last player Bayern bought from Dortmund was Hummels in 2016 5yrs ago. Since then they have lost Dembele, Aubameyang Pulisic Mikitaryan etc to clubs not named Bayern

Arsenal weren’t title contenders. It doesn’t matter where they finished, they were 19 massive points below United in 11/12. They hadn’t been in a title race in the previous 8 seasons.




Dortmund and United don’t compete in the same league. Selling their players to United does not give United any advantage over them to win the Bundesliga.

You are just grasping at straw here comparing United to Bayern. Any club with morals will desist from buying Dortmund players to encourage some stiff competition. What Bayern are doing in Germany is what Dangote is doing in Nigeria.
