There is no way Pulisic starting that match. It’s either Havertz warner Mount or Havertz Mount Zyech or Mount Zyech warner.

Havertz is the best 9 from a bad bunch. Giroud too slow, Tammy too weak and Werner too as the spirit leads

I’d say Pulisic, Giroud, Mount with Werner coming in for Pulisic or Giroud. Pulisic and Giroud sometimes have a good a good connection I’ll fancy them. I think we need a big striker on the night, Madrid CB’s alongside Casemiro are bullies

Ziyech too should start... He is the only one that attempts to play penetrative passes which Werner can utilize. We also need Mount to help Kante close down Kross and Modric while Jorginho keeps the defense shape intact.

Don't forget Kante's impact would be minimal because of fasting. He has not been playing to his full strength since Ramadan started.
Same with Ziyech & Rudiger. Jorginho & mount have started over 6 games in succession.
Kovacic inclusion would have help reduce the burden on our midfield, couple with the fact that he has played amongst them and also taken a deserve rest from the injury.
I am worried.

Oga, if last match is anything to go by, werner should not even near the match day squad.
That goal is a tap in and aside that he was shambolic.

We are not just watching werner and ziyech combo, Ziyech will just be spamming crosses with little protection for the ball when he is in possession and considering curtios height and Giroud not likely starting we don't need those unnecessary crosses.

We need a WF who can dribble and run with the ball so either of Odoi or Pulisic should start with Havertz preferably but werner is not too bad, i will just need to go with my church flyer.

Madrid have serious minded players through that midfield. You can't put up with along just to fill up space with them. Use your width and make runners do the remaining job. Once you can beat RM in their back yard, them don finish be that but if not, all the best.

Bluemann you watching the game? Chelsea Women just equalized through leupolz. PSG and Barcelona played a 1-1 draw in the other match.

Omo I didn't watch the game oh...got to know that we lost 2-1.

From the post match analysis I got, it seems the Bayern coach was able to outsmart Emma Hayes, which is a pretty huge feat. Bayern had been conceding goals prior to that game - 7 in their last 3 - but the guy switched to a back five and changed his approach. Our attack was unusually blunt.

The good news is, we got an away goal. Hopefully we can overturn the deficit at home.

Exactly my fear. Our midfield seems weakened, meanwhile the same area is Madrid's greatest strength, plus they will be boosted by the return of Kroos - albeit they will be missing Valverde.

Kovacic's injury is a huge blow. Like you rightly pointed out, the fitness of Kante, Jorginho and Mount would be a concern cos one is fasting, while the other two have been playing games consecutively with little rest. Jorgo is of greater concern to me - Mount is renowned for his stamina, but I don't know if we can say same for Jorgo.

Gilmour would've come in handy, but it's clear Tuchel doesn't trust him yet.

Another option would've been to move Chris to the midfield, since he can also play there. But these tweaks aren't ideal for a game if this magnitude.

This all depends on the fitness of Jorgo and Kante. I just hope they would be in good enough condition for tomorrow.
