Is it still possible to enter through bike from the idiroko border?
Teetomania:

Thank you so much for this. I intend to travel to Benin Republic before the end of next month or in June. I will be following your guide this time. I went there last year November and did a month. Came back before Christmas, but I used the bike men style grin grin via Owode-idiroko border. Seme border was closed then.

The serenity there and calmness of the people blew my mind. Compared to what is obtainable in Nigeria. I might do more than a month this time around. I plan to get my yellow fever vaccine soon. I still have about 11,000Cfa with me from the last time. Just glad that I can do it legit this time without fearing anything.

Yes. But sometimes their police and officers are on the road when you board a cab from the border checking people. I was lucky they didn't stop my cab when I was going. They were too engaged. But I think you should be able to pay your way through though I can't tell for sure.

Proposed period:

3rd weekend in the month of May. Next month.

Road trip.

Kick off from Lagos. Entry via Idiroko considered. Seme border is so messed up and the road trip via Badagry not so nice.

Accommodation: Maybe an apartment via Airbnb might be more cost effective compared to a hotel. I've seen some great deals online and safety/ security is assured via the platform.

Send me a PM we could form a whatsapp group and make it happen.

Pls am interested,

Please I intend to go to Cotonou in September. I heard the Seme border is still closed so I won't be able to go with Chisco or ABC. Is there an alternate route without using flight ( I no get money for flight).

Who's currently in Benin Republic?

Please give us current information on the cost of rentage there and cost of living thanks

1)How much does it cost to rent a single room self-contain
2) how are the rents paid, just monthly payments or one would be require to pay extra months upfront ? What about caution fee?

3)As the apartments already furnished?

4)Does our Nigerian visa/master cards work their ATMs?

5)What's the cost of food, clothings and electric gadgets as compared to Nigeria?

6)What's the average cost of water, electricity, and internet data?

On getting to Cotonou/porto-novo how can one easily get an apartment for rent? IF YOU HAVE CONTACTS OF AGENTS, PLS DROP.
