Hello everyone, I am seriously planing on migrating to the UK, I have over 9years experience in HSE from reputable Oil&Gas companies, but my plan is to use my wife as principal, if that is the term to be used under the tier4 visa option, such that she would have a 2 year post work bonus, while I search for work, I already have seen many posting as regards my job and experiences but I rather apply for a tier 2 visa from inside the UK, or do I start to apply from outside, I also intend to apply for tier2 visa option when we eventually get there. I’m travelling with my 3 kids... please I need mentorship. Advice needed 1 Like |

Temitopegold221:Hello, I have been in this same shoe till I changed methods of application. In less than three weeks, I started getting offers. 1. Browse and check recruitment agencies/firms near you. Pick their numbers and call them asking if there are available vacancies. Some will tell you no one is available yet but will take your details. Most of them will ask you about the particular area of interest. 2. Just go out to their offices. Some local agencies have opened up which makes it better for 1on1 interaction. 3. Modify your area of interest on your online search and follow up with messages to employers one day after your application(They will invite you because it makes you stand out) 4. Target and apply for jobs that are posted 24hours ago. Many employers usually pick the first few ones and invite them for an interview( I used this method and got invites and had to decline one because the dates clashed) 5. If you are applying through indeed, filter your application so it would show you are applying directly to the employer and not an agency. Owners of businesses/Employers consider applications faster. Cheers and good luck on your search. 10 Likes 8 Shares |

DeeOneBangin: "The Graduate route will be unsponsored, meaning applicants will not need a job offer in order to be eligible. There will be no minimum salary requirements nor caps on numbers. Graduates on the route will be able to work flexibly, switch jobs and develop their career as required. Whilst the route will not lead to settlement, those on the route will be able to move into another work-based route, such as the Skilled Worker route - which does lead to settlement - once they meet the requirements" 1 Like |

Hello senior, Please any help with this credit score of a thing? I tried to get a contract sim only at 02 , they said I'm not eligible. I tried to get several credit cards , same thing. Please is it possible for tier 4 visa holder to get voting roll or how can I sort this credit issue? |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by TheGuyFromHR: 7:59pm On Apr 29, 2021 |
starboychan: Gini? Stop applying for credit cards - the more you apply, the more you mess up your nascent credit record, each rejected application counts against you. Yes, you can register to vote, go to the gov.uk site and do that. Leave this matter for another 6 months at least. 1 Like 1 Share |
