honorableron:Doing an upfront medical is optional, you can wait for IRCC to request for it or you do it upfront. Mind you, upfront medical does not guaranty your Visa approval. Applicants do an upfront medical to hasten their Visa processing approval. Other gurus in the house will throw more light. |

honorableron:You don't have to wait till it's requested. It's better to do upfront medicals in order to avoid unnecessary delay with the application process. You'll be provided with a sheet to upload to your application at the medical center. |

247humble:If 2 is a post graduate diploma you can go for it. Whichever you choose, you must be able to convince the application officer the program will be beneficial to your career on your return to Nigeria. |

Hi everyone, I'm just rounding up my first bsc (Law), and I'm about to submit my study permit application for a second bsc in Cruminology. Will it be an issue for me? Will I be granted visa for a bsc studies when people usually go for a masters? Also, I don't have an official graduate transcript because we are not done, what do I submit? |

I'm really sorry I keep stressing you people here. I'm just trying to get everything together ASAP. For the proof of funds, my parents are paying my fees and I'm obviously unemployed. How many of these do I need to submit then? your bank statements for the past four months a bank draft in convertible currency pay stubs an employment letter proof of assets or business proof of payment of tuition and accommodation fees tax reports, declarations or statements proof of a student/education loan from a financial institution a letter from the person or institution providing you with money proof of funding paid from within Canada, if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational program proof of a Canadian bank account in your name if money has been transferred to Canada There is a family member representative form. I'm the one doing practically everything and the visas are being submitted via my account. Do I get my mum to sign under this form appointing me as the representative? Then for all these forms they gave me to fill, Adobe is saying I can't save changes to some. Does that mean I have to print, fill and then scan them? For the signatures as well, do I need to print and sign then scan? Thank you all so much for your patience you're so kind. |

i'm pretty sure it was just a glitch. i have used their virtual dollar card to make many foreign payments without any issue whatsoever. Don't worry, you would get your money back. Ruthiegal: |

honorableron: Yes, you can do an upfront medical to avoid delays. I submitted my study application same time as you and I’ve booked my medical exam for May. You can visit the website of IOM or Qlife to book your appointment. |

Please guys, I need help o. My PPR package has been refused twice by the VAC, without any reason at all. I enclosed my passport along with all the required documents, and proof of payment of the Transmission Fee, and addressed it to the Abuja VAC office. I paid for a return-courier via UPS. Funny thing is the package easn't even opened before it was refused, so I cannot know what the exact problem is. Even reaching the VAC by phone is almost impossible because the call goes off once you select the option of speaking with an agent. The email I sent when the package was refused initially has still not been replied. This is quite a strange case. Apart from trying a different courier service, is there anything I can do differently?? |

Hello gurus. I’ve gone through the amazing information on the threads. I also followed the instructions given while crafting my SOP/LOE. I just finished writing my SOP and I was wondering if there is any Guru available to read and correct it. I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. |

Also, I just noticed an update on the CIC page. It gave a deadline of submission for May 15, 2021 to receive a decision by August 6, 2021. I don’t know if this is applicable to Nigerians, but I just felt that I should put this out there. 2 Likes |

childgodly:You can decide to upload documents of NSE (including mybankStatement) upfront or wait for them to be requested. I uploaded my IELTS result with my application and I got a request to upload mybankStatement shortly after submission. |

Hi fam, Can an applicant go through the NSE route with a fully funded MSc/PhD program? Application has been submitted but a letter came asking for IELTS result and mybankstatement certificate? The thing school is covering tuition and living expenses? Should I just ignore the letter or reply to them that I’d be going through the regular route? Thanks |
