If either of you are serious, get an immigration lawyer and be ready to wait patiently!

You should be asking google these questions, most people here might not have come through the route you are asking about and the ones that did might be busy, it would be difficult for them to answer your questions.

So google and ask your suppose sponsor to ask questions too.

Wait patiently? Will it be up to a year.

I'm graduating August and I want to skip nysc to focus on this, if it's going to take time maybe I should just enrol for the service then.

Chief you are better off enrolling for service. If the guys is really ready to sponsor you it will take a while and will involve immigration lawyers as others have said and even that is not sure.

From what I'm reading you asked the guy to sponsor you and he said yes without understanding what it takes. I doubt the guy is ready to spend the money required as it probably was just an informal chat to help if he can thinking you just submit form and letter and that's it.

At a minimum he must be ready to demonstrate why he wants to hire you and why he is unable to find someone in Canada to do the job. Given you are just an undergraduate with no experience it will be very hard to convince immigration that you have skills that he cannot find in Canada.

This is the mistake most people make thinking immigration is a ‘twinkle twinkle little star’ thing.

You need patience to move, yes it will take time.

Read the thread, some people are still in the process for over a year.

I repeat again... use google !

Yes it can work if you meet the requirements and are able to afford the fees or if the guy will pay for you.

Do you think this guy is ready to commit to paying your tuition and other fees for you?

Correct me if I am wrong but it looks like you struck a relationship with someone online who you don't know that well, expressed your frustration with Nigeria and he is willing to help if he can but not to the level of paying thousands of dollars.

The average American, Brit, Canadian etc. have no clue about how immigration works and he probably thinks all he has to do is say he supports you and viola you get visa, unfortunately it takes a lot more than that. He will need to show he can and is willing to sponsor you, share his financial details etc. and pay the fees. Is your relationship with him to that level?

Well that’s the first step, you then need to get admission and apply for the visa and convince the immigration officer that you’re coming as a true student and that they believe the guy will truly sponsor you.

Canadian student visa is not easy to get FYI

In what terms is it not easy? Please can you explain better.
What about a post graduate programme, that too is not easy?

Things like this are usually fishy...even if you are 100% sure the guy wants to sponsor you, what’s the guarantee that he is not trying to launder money through you?

As others have suggested, try to complete your undergrad, apply for studies and if possible look out for scholarship opportunities, or go for your NYSC, get the required 3yrs work experience, save up some money and then begin your express entry process

Good day everyone am new to this group

I got my visa already with a university in Winnipeg but due to the tuition costs I decided to apply for a college in Toronto and got it.

My question is this after getting my study permit in Toronto airport with the university can I quarantine 14days in Toronto after then notify ircc and proceed to my college for studies.

N.B I read from ircc website you cannot change schools from outside Canada after visa has been Approved.

That is what many people think.

If I want to scam you, it will be very easy, if you go by this logic.

Anyway, everyone has advised you based on what they think you should do.

The ball is now in your court.

Thanks man I appreciate.

What they are saying is I should come through studies, applying for a degree, is that your stand too?
