Odunayaw: Seriously? I thought the sports minister said fans were allowed back into stadiums. Maybe it had something to do with Covid since south Africa is still a hot spot. |

nairalandankrah:I don't think even his current form is enough to see him through that. We all know the super eagle's most frustrating defect: The midfield. especially the attacking aspect of it. Iheanacho still lacks that aggressiveness, predatory character, ruggedness and mobility that will make him adapt to our terrible midfield productivity. And apparently, this is what made Osimhen overtake him as our point man and still the best for that position anytime anyday despite the fact that Nacho has been been far more prolific at club side than Osimhen. |

I just watched YouTube videos of these players again. I feel we seriously don't know the talent we will be having if they plays for us and comes good at the NT. Eze Ejaria Olise Aribo(Already a SE player and he has done well). If things goes to plan and we get all these guys, others should just vacate the SE midfield for.. Ndidi Eze Ejaria Olise Aribo Nwakali And any other DM like the Rennes guy to deputize for Ndidi. We can still have a solid midfield with these other guys even if Eze continue to exclude himself. Iwobi should be taken to the left wing 2 Likes |

MetalJigsaw:Not all coaches that gets relegated with their clubs are bad. Some could be good but with bad players that doesn't measures up. A typical example is Scott Parker and his Fulham team. Another was Holloway and his blackpool team |

MetalJigsaw: Osimhen overtake iheanacho as our point man because nacho have been out of form and struggled for game time with Leicester city No be by ruggedness, haaland no rugged in any way but e sabi score goal, all players and their own style But i have this feelings that haaland goals will be lesser in a better league Iheancho is a better goal scorer than victor and we all know this |

andrewbaba44:Haaland is big, imposing and a speed star. Iheanacho is too sluggish to act as a point man. That doesn't mean he won't score some goals as a pointman when he have a good AM that's good with final passes 2 Likes |

nairalandankrah: Victor Osimhen is still our best CF option. Iheanacho instead can play as an SS on behind the striker. Osimhen's pace, height, and power strikes is very suitable for national football. He's also got good Positioning too. Defenders usually have hard time marking out such an attacker. 2 Likes |

nairalandankrah: Who doesn't know playing Nacho as a #9 is a disaster.....please , let's drop that idea. Nacho has limited positions he can play and if you try to use him wrongly you will end up with an incompetent player. I have heard people say Nacho should play #10 and I wonder where these ideas are coming from. He doesnt have the lungs nor the skill set. The boy can only function between the #10 position and #9 , shikena. If Iwobi who is more skillful couldn't cope in the #10 position what makes you think Iheanacho would. Iheanacho has limited abilities of which are his pinpoint passes/creating goal opportunities/ deft touches and scoring goals with ease due to his excellent vision around the 18yrd box. Now, you cant because he plays good passes and score breathtaking goals and force him to play #10, which requires a player who can function in tight spaces. He will fail there. Lets be careful. We have seen how misusing a player can do to him, in Etebor. 2 Likes |

Arabiandude: Even if you put a good AM behind Nacho an intelligent defender can easily outsmart him, because Nacho is not aggressive, a bit slow and one legged. Therefore , the best option is to play him where he would get less attention/not the point man and have him sneak up on the box 18 late minutes and strikes. Thats where he functions best and his ability to score is almost unmatched. |

seankafor: About 1 hr 30mins trip. When I was in Akwa-ibom back then i never missed Enyimba's games, even though I was part of Okey Emordi's backroom staff. The atmosphere was always electrifying. The singing, drumming and Prayers of the fans. I remember one of the games in 2004 against Esperance, I think in the semifinals of CAF Champions league that year. That the fans knelt down at some point and starting praying and shouting Jehovah...! Jehovah...!!. We drew that game but drew again in Tunis and won via penalties. Crazy stuff back then. Aba boys didn't care much about what was happening in England and Europe. Na wetin dey happen to Enyimba both in the NPFL and CAF Champions league dem know . Memories Unfortunately I am not sure the restrictions on number of fans would have been lifted in the quarter finals. |

Icon4s: Those were the glorious days of Enyimba. When Khadiri Ikhana marshalled instructions from the sidelines....beautiful memories. I read complete sports daily just because of Enyimba and local league. Enyimba paraded one of the most beautiful playing midfield pair in Muri Ogunbiyi with so much skills and guile and the athletic and tireless Onyekachi Okonkwo....these two were phenomenal. It still hurt me Muri didn't play for Nigeria. |

MetalJigsaw: Fam Idc that much about the world cup due to politics, biased and unfavortism that African team face and I know that for those reasons, likely, an African team will not even reach semi final so what's the tussle? But, if Nigeria cannot beat ghana with this our present squad and their failing squad, then do we deserve to attend the world cup?? |

12large1: Don't blame your misfortunes at the world cup on this flimsy excuse that FIFA is biased against African teams. Look at your domestic leagues and tell the progress you have made. Your best players are untrained and rot away at the NPFL. Simply put , you don't deserve to win even a plastic cup! |

You are funny. You think Nigeria can beat Ghana? “Our present squad and their failing squad?” I don’t know how and why Nigerians think they have a better than Ghana. Na real wa. You obviously don’t know much about football and the history between the two teams. Forget, about whatever team you nigerians think you have, Ghana will beat Nigeria any day. This is a fact! 12large1: |

12large1: You guys should know by now that Ghana vs Nigeria matches defy logic. Ghana raises their game when playing Nigeria. Nigeria develops a psychological complex. The only times Nigeria beats Ghana is when the a massive gulf in talent level. A typical scenario Nigeria vs Team A 1-0 Ghana vs Team B 0-1 Team A vs Team B 3-0 Nigeria vs Ghana 0-1 |
