Our brothers from the east believe Ukwuani are a sub- group of the Igbo, but I have never seen myself as an Igbo person and I was raised by a family who do not identify as Igbo. When I was old enough to critically examine our antecedents, I too concurred with their stance.

You cannot be on this forum for more than 10 years as I have and not develop a thick skin. In the past I used to respond to every fuckracious comment because I felt a deep sense of responsibility to knock sense into the senseless, but a very dear friend of mine on this forum told me offline "Ishi, you are too reactive. Trolls will use it to jerk your strings." I had to take several deep breaths and learn to resist the urge to respond to negativity.
