@ bolded got my attention and I think I need to respond to your post. Though I have not make any sales for the past several months I have stumbled upon this thread, but I think we should be our brothers keepers.

it can be very frustrating when you see other people making sales left and right while you see no result for the effort you are putting into the business.

it can be more frustrating when you have Yahoo guys around you who are cashing out big on little format given to the clients or through relief programs.

My advice for you is to look for another online money making like freelancing which you can join together with domain name business.

Take for instance, i am doing PTP, freelancing (SEO content writing) and domain name business. I channel the part of the money I made from the first two avenues to reg domain name with the hope of making a break through.

Please never give up on domain name business, the next domain name might by the one that will end the drought. Please, don't throw in the towel, I pray that God should make a way for you in this business soon. I wish for myself as I wish for you, so shall it be soonest by God's grace.

Your mails are going to spam folder, you don't have enough endusers, your names are not good enough, your pricing is too high but I think it is mostly the first.

There are so many things you could do but it's still not a guarantee that majority will end in inbox. You can warm new mails before use, you can work on I P (but this could be tricky and mess you up), you should avoid spam words (Google them), adding unsubscribe button helps, your server too, a short length of your text and few U R L in it, waiting few seconds before sending to another end user. Make sure mails from your address have not been marked as s p a m.

I hope AntiSpam doesn't ban me.

This business self... You just need the right tools especially for cold emails and you might have lots of prospects and much sales. Don't only invest in domain, invest in some other software too like gmass/$20/m.. It will make your work so easy.
This name in dot co was held for a year. Got it at gd closeout I think 35$ , I refused to renew it because of the uncertainty. It dropped on the 21st of April, now hijacked by hugedomains. Tag it premium and make offer. Now someone wanted to play fast one on them. I listed it on afternic for $400. Now bought. Afternic sending me to provide auth code, I don't have it as it is not mine. I can't delist the name either on afternic. Should I let it play out itself?

Now, in this email of a thing for domain biz, if you are about opening an email address for outbound, is it ideal you make use of your name during registration? (assuming u have just one English name and a native name what do u do in such case)

If one opt to use a company name, what risk does it entails, knowing that whoever u are outbounding to might want to confirm so as not to fall into a scam.

Is it ideal you use ur English name and an abbreviation of your native name(initials) in your signature?

Or make person just adopt new name(English names)...like Michael Scofield or Jason Bourne use dey outbound

Nigerians firms don't even help matters. I came across a firm whose MD/CEO is a billionaire and I checked the name of the firm if available and behold, very much available. I doubt if they will even listen to you if one registers and contact them as end-user.

then the name they'll see on the email before opening will be something like...
