I am also going to UCW for MBA in OCT
I applied March 19

Got NSE request on the 25th and submitted it.

Waiting for Medical request but will go ahead and do upfront medical too next week.

mrkingz:

Same here too; MBA at UCW this summer. Applied Jan 22. NSE submitted March 10. Upfront medical March 10. UFM updated to pass March 15. Sent web form & emails as per exceeded standard processing time, and they replied me with the ''your application is under active review..'' msg.
Thinking of requesting for my GCMS. And if July 5th is going to be realistic for UCW prospectives, then we need a feedback before June 15 if we have to make it in & finish the 14days quarantine before orientation begins.. (my calculation)

This too will end in praise.
So be it!

@oyibo4real pls I have questions regarding the documents you submitted for your child's visa
I do not know how to go about my children's application, I don't know the kind of Visa to apply for considering the processing time for dependent children currently. I am currently in Canada but will love my children here by Sept so they can start school too. Please help o , other scholars kindly shook mouth too

oyibo4real:

Yea, I addressed the issues of concern in LOE and sent immediately, i later wanted to include docs/pictures as proofs but changed my mind as those things were properly explained in my SOP.

PS: I asked them to go through my SOP again.

I wish you the BEST!

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED:

So, I literally categorized all my documents in titles and sub-titles and a TOC for easy identification. (I no won too stress my fine visa officer hahahah)

ALL THREE (3) FORMS.

Passport Photograph.

Passport: I created a TOC here and uploaded my most passport, travel history (Stamps, expired passports and expired visas). I applied from Ireland.

POF: My Father is my main sponsor and supported me with his bank accounts in Nigeria. I also used myself as co-sponsor to add the small small change I have managed to raise for the past year. I totalled the sum and broke it down bit by bit in my study plan. I created a TOC too.
* Letter of sponsorship.
* Affidavit of sponsorship.
* Letter of consent to travel.
* Tuition fee deposit.
* Sponsor personal bank account statement (6 months).
* Sponsor personal bank confirmation of signature. (Just an official letter from the bank)
* Sponsor personal bank letter of reference.
* Sponsor Company bank statement (6 months).
* Sponsor company bank confirmation of signature.
* Sponsor company bank letter of reference.
* Applicant personal account statement (4 months)
* Applicant saving statement of account (3 months)
* Sponsor e-passport.
* Sponsor retirement letter.
* Sponsor pension fund.

Client Information.
OTHERS.
* Study Plan. (My SP was very detailed. I am a lawyer so writing and designing and using big big grammar is my specialty. I tried to convince them why I needed an MBA when I just rounded up a Masters in Ireland and why I am not interested in PH.D).
* Resume.
* Police certificate in Ireland, Nigeria and United Kingdom (I did my Undergraduate in Cambridge and spent more than six months).
* Birth Certificate.

Happy New Month and Great Morning to you all.

May this month bring forth good tidings and abundant blessings from the Most High God.

I pray that you will experience good health, ceaseless happiness, and ample wisdom in Jesus name.

I pray that you will continue to be a blessing to so many lives and God will continue to shower you with his plentiful grace.

For those who sacrifice a lot in the service of others, may your pockets never run dry, and may your households never know grief.

It will be well with you all in Jesus name.

Amen.

You can use it, however, do your possible best to obtain a marriage certificate from the registry. This will aid your future applications especially during your application for permanent residence.

@Justwise, thank you for understanding my point and the typo.

I have gone through the issue on thread 17. Similar name does not mean it's the same person. One needs strong evidence.
What if the persons are different? What does that make you?

Is the account where you are to pay the Naira the same as the one in thread 17? You can compare notes with the person.

I really find the part of holding onto the funds that doesn't belong to you very wrong when you have established that it cannot be returned.

Two wrongs don't make a right. There is a proper way to handle things like these.

We have police and EFCC to handle issues such as this, you and the person involved in thread 17 can contact them, you already have an account number that connects him. Trust me those agencies will fish him out. I have seen them do it severally they are very capable.

You are not the law or authority to yourself. Do the right thing.

Oh ok. I think I've seen your mail this morning, but let me reply here for the benefit of others too.

Documents submitted for him:

---All the necessary IMM forms(this time fill the study permit form in place of visiting visa form, I guess it's their new normal)

---Reference Letter from his school, stating his date of admission, current grade/class, reason for the request and expected date of arrival back to Nigeria(odi egwu)

----International passport and copies of previous visas to other countries

----His Birth Certificate

-----Passport photograph

----My school's Letter of Admission and Receipt of Tuition fee payment

----- Proof of Fund and sponsor's employment details

----- Affidavit of Support(financial) from my husband being our sponsor, we also included his consent here too.

----Marriage Certificate and Family pictures.

-----Letter of Explanation(I used a strong one cos I needed to explain why my eldest child would be going with me instead of the youngest)

I hope this helps, smiley

Please to gurus in the house

I'm about applying for my study visa for fall 2021, through general route but I'm planning to submit my IELTS score (6.0 overall band). I'm not going through NSE due to the 30kCAD.

Is it advisable to submit my IELTS score upfront?
Is it also advisable to submit my MBS and medical report upfront?

IF I submit all the necessary documents upfront, how will it affect my application?

NBCC placed me on waitlist ... Biko which other schools are open ... I'm tired searching. A direct masters with a 2.2 grade or a post graduate diploma in political science or other social sciences. Is it possible to get a master's in social work with a social science BSC ?

Please how much did anybody that applied for study permit pay? Because my agent said he was charged $235 USD equivalent of #112800. But the receipt he showed me clearly said $235 CAD. I want to know whether any of you bought $235USD and deposited in Dorm acct and while making payments, Canada still charged the same $235USD. Thanks

God forgive me for what I'm about to say. But May God Judge you. You're definitely either part of him. Didnt the other guy say he went to efcc and police and nothing happened. I can beat my chest that you know this guy. His name on the card details he used is AMAKU CHIDIEBERE. Same name he used for mine. I won't send him any money cause he would definitely charge it back. If only you saw the chat Max had with him. It was painful after he told the bastard called AMAKU CHIDIEBERE that the money was charged back. He said he would go to his bank and he blocked max that same day. God knows if it's me. I'd fast for his head..mtcheeew

Yesterday the 30th of April 2021 gave international students the heartache of their lives following the push by Ontario Premier Doug Ford requesting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to temporarily bar international students from entering the province.

As at when making the information public following a meeting held with the provinces by the PM on April 29, 2021, it is still unclear when the measures will be implemented—as the panicking grows amongst international students coming to Ontario to study and as well as what the future of other international students coming to the other provinces—if they will also replicate same push made by Ontario.

Currently, the new number of COVID-19 cases in Ontario has spiked up to 4,715 recorded cases as of April 29th, 2021 based on the report made by the province. The uncertainty of things is that, during the press conference briefing, Premier Doug Ford also asked the PM to temporarily prevent international students from coming to Canada as at this time of COVID-19 spike in Canada and intensify restrict border measures.

Premier Doug also pushed for the same mandatory 3-days hotel quarantine measures for those using the land borders as well. As of note, the measures were only aimed towards air travellers. Stayed tuned in for more updates as GCMSWriters monitors the situation.
