lol He studied players, he lobbed to them. What did he win? Where did they get to? All these bunkum about injuries as if Curry and the warriors did not have injuries too. What is funny is how Draymond was mocked here not too long ago because he got 100M. Playing with who got Draymond that type of contract? Have we seen him play without Curry? How good was he? What about Klay Thompson? How did he play without Curry? 1 Like |

benji93: So yesterday, Curry went off as usual for 27 pts, on 50% shooting, including 5 3s . Killer stats, yeah? Guess how many assists the "PG" had? 2. And they lost by 30+. At one point Mavs went on a 25-0 run! shey u now understand why playoff rings doesnt mean best player. Barkley has 0, but Draymond has 3. Robert Horry has like 8 lol. Even Steve Kerr get ring and Gary Payton no get ring. Tmac no even smell WCF. Beal will likely never get one either. Such is life boss. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

If i remember correctly you once mentioned that you were going to graduate school. If you were the one, i would have to say i am quite disappointed. I suppose you had been waiting for the team to lose so you can pick on the man. You waited for days to find something to say. You made a claim that CP3 makes his teammates better but yet he couldn't wield that Clippers team to the conference finals. What does a talented team need if not the floor general himself? I don't know how you would argue CP3 vs Curry, despite the fact that the man just wasn't the "makes everybody better floor general" at LA clippers. The argument is simply who's more impactful, not who's a better floor general. We must not all impact the game in the same way. If your floor coordination was so impactful, how about you get a team to the conference final? Besides, we both know when it comes to stars we look at both the titles and stats. I don't know how Robert horry and Green came into this. Those men we never talk about what they are not. The point was if he's the "makes everybody better floor general" that you call him, then a conference final shouldn't be impossible. birdman: 2 Likes |

benji93: Suns went 7-0 in the bubble last season, without CP3. Ayton was ban for 25 games last season which affected their form, when he got back they picked form - without CP3. Everyone with a working brain knew that they were a team on the up plus they have a good coach in Monty. Do you know Doc wanted CP3 in Philly but he preferred Suns? GSW were by far the worst team in the NBA last season without Curry. The offense is number 5 in the league when he is on and dead last with him off. I don't know how else to define impact. If a player had 2 assists does it mean he only made 2 passes? Could it not mean that 10 other passes he gave went to bums who missed the shot? I told you already, foolish post of the year nominee and it is leading the way. 2 Likes |

Android17: Ogbeni stop this cap.. The only reason why the suns are balling this season is cos of cp3, they'll have still been a mediocre team at best, he's brought that toughness, leadership n winning mentality to the team, So becos they went on a 7-0 run that meant they'll ball with how most teams got strengthend? Make it make sense na haba. The argument for cp3 being a better floor general is actually the truth, Steph is obviously the better scorer, between many greats see him as more of an SG. As for those slamming him about his time with the clips that team was one of the most unlucky teams in NBA history asides in 2014 in which the organization had internal issues with the racist comments from one of their top officials they always had one key injury or the other which obviously affected them badly. If cp3 had teamed up with kobe then obviously we won't be having this convo about his rings too. But we all know how special he was that the NBA had to twart that deal ever coming through. " A point guard, like other player positions in basketball, specializes in certain skills. Their primary job is to facilitate scoring opportunities for their team, or sometimes for themselves. Lee Rose has described a point guard as a coach on the floor, who can handle and distribute the ball to teammates" This is the primary jab of a PG. Steph changed the game in terms of being an "effective" volume shooter but abeg in terms of facilitating he dosent come close to Cp3. How many players not named LeBron James currently could have done what he did with okc last season? The suns just clinched their first playoff spot since 2010 and some people still dey mis cap... Unluck? What the hell does that mean. Either you get them there or you don't. Now you bring in social matters. Racist comments blablabla. Besides no one is even arguing that CP3 is not a floor general. The argument was on whose style is more impactful. No enter through window. Enter through main door. joshboo: 1 Like |

joshboo: I don't like to discuss with people who cannot research before posting. The reason the bubble was brought up is because that is when the Suns team played together consistently without their starters like Ayton missing games. The record we have is, they were the best team in the bubble BEFORE CP3. That is the evidence we have. Nobody said he has not made an impact, the issue is how much is that impact compared to the impact Curry is making in GSW and how much would the impact have been if the tables were turned. If you don't know what is being debated, just read and learn instead of chatting wass. As for OKC, lol, OKC were 49-33 the season before CP3 and 44-28 with him. At their win share, they would have at best won the same number of games. Remember, he played with Galinari, Shroeder, Adams, G. Alexander. Let me see how Lightening will not fire you if you say that Roster was not by miles better than GSWs. Look at this troll, telling me the Clippers team had injuries and were unlucky. Do you know Bogut was injury prone? Curry nko? When last did you see Klay Thompson play basketball? Besides, nobody was arguing about who facilitates more or better. Ben Simmons will also claim he coordinates better than Curry but is it not because he cannot shoot? The issue is, who makes more impact? You can average more assists but did your team win and win more? Some silly comment here said if CP3 was playing on the Warriors present team they will seed higher than they currently are. That is not only CAP it is dumb. So my friend, shut up if you have nothing to say. I saw you bring up Lebron, well, if you annoy me, I will debunk all the "Lebron drags weak teams" argument here once and for all. 1 Like |

benji93: I dislike people who cannot research. I wonder why people keep repeating this lie that the NBA thwarted CP3s move to the Lakers. David Stern had answered the question many times. The Hornets did not have an owner and the then dumb GM was trading CP3 for nobodies. Stern told the GM that he had no right to approve that trade because a player of CP3s calibre (future HOFer) should only be approved by an owner and for substantial players and picks. That is the reason the trade to the Clippers was allowed. The people who blame the NBA are the same ones laughing at the Rockets because the same thing has happened with Harden. He was traded for nothing. |

steady986: Before Durant, did or didn't curry win a championship? Where was Chris Paul and his lob city? They had 3 good players in their prime on that team same with GSW. So what happened? What is dislike is when people discredit a player's greatness just because they don't like him. You and many others on this thread are quick to discredit everything curry does. You even said curry is never as good an offensive player as harden. Haba? I may not truly like Lebron but I will never discredit his accomplishments because of that. Dude is an all time great and the greatest small forward of all time (to me). But when I mention curry, your BP starts to rise unnecessarily. Why, because he beat Lebron in the finals 3 times. I know it's a tough but to swallow but Oga, it is what it is 5 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by Android17: 7:15pm On Apr 30, 2021 |
Blueelf: Don't mind them. Less FG%, less 3P%, less FT% and has played 121 more games than Curry and has 3882 more points than Curry. For context, Curry's is 24 ppg career wise. At 24*121, Curry would have reduced the deficit to 978 points. If we decide to factor that Curry missed close to 55% of those 121 games during his prime (last season for e.g) then we can safely do 28*121 which will reduce that deficit to 494 points. James Harden technically has scored only 494 more points than Curry who played with KD and Klay Thompson who are offensive juggernauts (meaning he shared offensive load). This is the Harden they want you to believe is by far better than Curry offensively? lol 1 Like |

Blueelf: Where is the lie there? Harden is a better offensive player than Curry. And there's no shame in that. Lol. Maybe you yourself don't discredit LeBron, but don't act like there aren't people on this thread who do it for fun. Lol. Why will my bp rise because of Curry? All I want him to do is to lead a team to comparable success all by himself, just like the King did, then we can consider putting him in the same sentence with LeBron. So who exactly beat LeBron? Is it Curry or KD? Because in my mind KD has 2 FMVPs and Curry has zero. You can't eat your cake and have it. When LeBron had the full complement of his team Curry shamefully surrendered a 3-1 lead and lost to LeBron. That you're even mentioning Curry's name at all is a mystery to me. |

steady986: Mystery indeed, mentioning Curry's name is now a mystery, but you can mention CP3 and Harden. The hate is indeed deep. So he for mention Draymond name. GSW taking a 3-1 lead in the first place is a slap to Lebron and his team mates, shey them dey sleep ni. Now Lebron and his team mates coming back to win is great, but we will never forget the magomago involved in that series. But as you say mentioning Curry is a Mystery really Shock me o. I see the curry hate here has not died If it's not Lillard, it's Harden, cp3 or even Jamal Murray. Bikonu make una leave the man. Either by circumstances or his personal greatness, he has 3 rings, 2 regular season mvps one of which was unanimous. Only few people have his resume. Just like LeBron, enjoy him while you can. The man Stephen Curry revolutionized the game. He gave birth to Harden, Lillard and other impostors. He didn't have to even chase shadows like LeBum. Man carved his own path and people are following on the same path. He changed the way PGs are viewed. Whether u like it or not, he impacted the NBA in ways LeBum would have wished he did. 3 Likes |
