strom: People do it of course, even for years. If you're in good profit, and the coin keeps performing, and you have diamond hands, then there's no need to close. The problem is when it's not performing, you'll still pay or receive funding whether your position is in profit or loss, and it could eat away at your margin over a long period of time till you're liquidated. But someone that's 10x long on BNB from say $15 don't care about funding rates at this point. 1 Like |

Wealth7:Your last line sounds unnecessary. Obviously, the guy is a good person, genuinely trying to help people with what he knows. Though, sometimes he might sounds over confident, but am sure there is nothing wrong with that. There are many different ways(strategies, methods, analysis) to make money from the market...Honestly, this Game offers a lot of different strategies that are more than the participants trying to make money from it......Just as with every decision making in life whatever strategy's you adopt can not always be right all the time, there are days it will fail you, but sticking to it consistently during both the good and bad days is what makes you succeed at the end of the day...... When you are In this business you need to have a strategy, and a plan it important, if you don't have this two things mostly a "strategy".... this is what I am sure of "you will never make a dime from this game, it might appear as if you making money but in the end you never will" Because you will be moved by everything you see and hear that is going on in the market and that is disastrous ....jumping from one hot Coīn or a Coīn that keeps going up to another so as not to lose out when you see your friends or others making money in your very presence. You end up making money only to give it back to the market inevitably, this goes on slowly, completely unaware of your actions until the market do you a favor by kicking you out of your misery(getting liquidated).... This game is not a game where any of your emotions(Greed, Fear, Excitement, Sadness, Happiness) should interfere. if you are going to stay long and acquires wealth in this game you must be Neutral which is impossible for us as a human to do, especially when money is involved....This is why having a strategy and sticking to it no matter what!!...."Strategy" is the only thing that can protect you from yourself; those emotions I speak of will always try to interfere.......you might find what am about to say very difficult to ponder upon but I will say it anyway.....In this Game, you are your worst enemy!!!! Have a strategy, be discipline and stick with it, doing the good or the bad days. Once you have a strategy and you adhere to it, investing can become very boring but that is how it should really feel....I know one of those emotion will always interfere so let me say this, I hope it guide you. If you see someone else making money from is own strategy and you start to feel yours is not good enough, remember that there are a lot of different strategies as many as the participants trying to making money and no strategy is perfect it is sticking with them consistently during the good and bad times that makes one money in the long run.....If you do this..I assure you, you will be successful in this Game. Sincerely, I keep having this strong feelings that someday, the people in this thread will be making a testimony here or somewhere else about how Crypt0 unimaginably change their financial lives forever, I strongly feel this!!!! Pls, let be nice, we will all prevail. 23 Likes 1 Share |

Cowbell521: Long-term is based on what the market gives and not necessarily a set timeframe of when you want to enter and exit the market. Secondly, if you lost 10k, the first thing is to itemize why you lost 10k and hope not to repeat them. Looking at charts, it's better to look at the daily or weekly charts rather than the monthly ones... Next thing is that you're intent on getting your 10k back rather than how to be a successful crypt0 trader/investor. What I see is revenge trading which is another recipe for disaster. Your 10k is gone and sits in the pocket of other folks who traded smartly. Your target now should be how to make small but steady progress. You mentioned a number of coyns that I've not even heard of and is no surprise you lost good money on them. Such coyns exist for a reason. I'm going to explain a bit cos it seems a number of people are stuck in thesame position... If you're trading with size, your first rule is to protect your capital. I don't care when a random has done 200% and I also don't jump in cos I know most folks jumping in late will lose money. That's an absolute constant in crypt0. Think like the big fish in the market. Why do you think that Elon and his company bought bitc0in despite shilling doge unrelentingly? How many big coys are buying other coyns apart from betece and sometimes eith. Do you think they don't like 500% gain? If you want to be a big fish, think like the big fish. There's no sense in your portfolio going 100% up today and 200% down tomorrow. In crypt0, you want to make money and more importantly, you want to keep it. I've said it multiple times... It's too risky not to own bitc0in in crypt0. I've not seen many people who've traded this marker successfully overtime without owning bitc0in. Owning bitc0in let's one see the bigger picture of how this market moves. If you want my advise, it'd be to split your money in 4-5 parts... One part should go to bitc0in. The second part should be in a major, third part a mid cap, the fourth a microcap (like the ones you listed) and last part in cash. You always want to have extra firepower to catch certain rallies or add on certain dips.... Regarding the coyns you listed, the only two I know of are ont and nem. Regarding ont, it belongs to a group of coyns that are ruled by neo... If you want to get in that group, you're better off with neo and leave it's children alone. Neo has is currently dealing with its ATH. With nem, I've spoken about it multiple times here since the last selloff... After the airdrop and selloff, it failed to recover and has been making lowerlows since. Uni is another coyn that had a selloff after an airdrop but its managed to hold structure... Look at the weekly chart of both coyns, (I placed an arrow where they had a selloff) you can see how they've held since then. That said, I wouldn't be looking to jump into uni at this level. But if it dips to 35-30 level, then I'd choose it over the other. Regarding deploying fresh fiat into the market, you want to buy on a pullback, selloff, or confirmation of support and not always on a green day 18 Likes 2 Shares

Avast: New or old, not many folks in crypt0 are able to keep profits for the long-term. It takes skill and discipline to do that.... We learn everyday and that's why I hardly use the word 'newbies' 2 Likes |

Wealth7: I quoted you again to let you know you need to learn to be patient. Naturally, Nigerians are impatient people and this affects them in business, including Cry.pto. I won't blame you for your impatience, but the culture of the nation. By now you must've sold and probably thinking of jumping back in — don't do it. Just 8 days, after a big crash, you lost patience. 16 Likes 1 Share

Hello house, COMP has pumped to a new ATH @ $797 as of today. I bailed out some bags at $700 holding just a few coins. Now I couldn't find any news for this run. Should we expect AAVE to pump too since these too tend to move together. AAVE is now at 475, with enough room to reach its ATH of 575 reached on Feb 10. I sold a bag of AAVE I bought at 335 during the selloff at 451 on Apr 27. Though I still have some bags left I plan to add more AAVE because of the COMP run. I think it will be a good play to consider. I plan to add more COMP when it pulls back. I have been trading AAVE since Jan and COMP since Feb. 1 Like |

iLegendd: Lol.. I choose not to respond to those quoting me asides you. First off, I didn’t sell.. Don’t jump into conclusion. Secondly, like I stated earlier, my point is your strategy didn’t work in regards to this particular coin. I was only making it obvious to you no strategy is perfect or close to perfect when it comes to crypto.. Lastly, The coin just recovered from the dip. Not like there was any profit whatsoever.
