It is stolen property.
The fact you buy a stolen property and they issue you receipt does not confer ownership on you. Once you are discovered, the property is collected from you and given to the true owner. You can be prosecuted unless you are proved to be an innocent buyer. Eg, how much you paid for it. If worth 100k and you paid 10k, or you paid 90 to 100k.
