owobokiri: A northern presidential candidate, by virtue of population and religious spread, does not need to build bridges across the nation, as much as an Igbo presidential candidate does. Sheer political expediency with no room for sentiments or emotion. And if you can only find 3 people worthy of your failed presidency from a group of over 50 million, don't you think you are utterly prejudiced against the group beyond belief? Go to blazes if you're going to refer to our presidency in that manner. Discussion terminated. |

A northern presidential candidate, by virtue of population and religious spread, does not need to build bridges across the nation, as much as an Igbo presidential candidate does. This country got independence after a series of conferences in which the powers of the constituting geopolitical zones were politically and constitutionally recognized. If certain sections of the country using military fiat have arrogated all sorts of powers, states, numbers and influences to themselves and have gone further to fabricate fake constitutions to normalize these.., it's their own kettle of fish really.. Folks who feel shortchanged by the new arrangements will ultimately continue to agitate until the new black on black apartheid set up is ruthlessly torn down! Preaching to them to subtly accep the political superiority of a segment of the country in a Union that was started off as equals will definitely NEVER fly... Go to blazes if you're going to refer to our presidency in that manner. Discussion terminated. Patriotism, the refuge for scoundrels! Remember? |

Agbegbaorogboye: dont be naive.. a year and few months to next Presidential Election , with the role Adeboye played in 2015, even a political novice knows what these close door visits are about |

iammo: What role did Adeboye play in 2015? Stop slandering him. He was very well above board in the 2015 elections. Funny you ask me to not be naïve when you're glossing over ignorance gallantly |

Agbegbaorogboye: let me start from 2011 Adeboye's role in picking Tunde Bakare: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/11/buhari-pastor-adeboye-and-i-since-1984-by-pastor-bakare/ when you are done with that let me know so i can pump you up with articles of his role in 2014/2015 |

Peter obi is religious bigot. Anglicans saw hell during his eight years time in their state. Just imagine the hatred in his mind against Muslims and traditional worshippers. Obi would be worse than buhari. 1 Like |

Agbegbaorogboye: I was so excited and I gave them Jimi Agbaje. I took him to Abuja to meet with them and they met a couple of times, but something happened, they dropped him. They called me again and I went to Pastor Adeboye to give me Oby Ezekwesili. I called her to run with President Buhari, she refused. But Pastor Adeboye told me he (Buhari) would need a strong Christian to be his running mate. |

iammo: Bros you're older than this. Consulting with someone and the person giving you advice is now political role to you? So if you go to your imam and ask for guidance on a personal political decision, your imam has become a politician? You obviously failed to realize advice of a spiritual father was sought and it was given. How does that turn the man to a politician? Did he campaign for or openly endorse anyone? Not even Osinbajo his pastor did he openly endorse. Stop mixing things up abeg. Let me see your claim for the 2015 which I expect to be another miscomprehension though. |

Re: The Next Nigerian President Is Igbo, BUT He Must Distance Himself From IPOBism by Agbegbaorogboye: 8:57am On May 03, 2021 |
iammo: I already told you. Endorsing a candidate and canvassing votes is what is called politicking. Tunde Bakare is a spiritual son to Adeboye and in that same story, you saw where he gave him advice to start his own private legal practice even when it was seemingly impossible. Are you also going to say that advice makes Adeboye an expert at law? So, calling his spiritual father to ask for advice on an endeavor does not imply that he (Adeboye) has become a politician. What next are you going to say? That Osinbajo attending RCCG congress makes the congress an APC political rally? You should be able to understand issues abeg. Same way you claimed Garba Shehu was referring to NLTP when everyone can see the obvious in one thread. |

Agbegbaorogboye: You are sooooo politically naive that even when political consultation is going in under your very nose you would be 100% clueless about Ok Adeboye went to Kaduna because El Rufai is his spiritual son and he only advised no political consultation happened, and his visit to Fayemi is a coincidence, perhaps he had flat tire in Ekiti or needed a refuel Nairalanders sef!!! |
Re: The Next Nigerian President Is Igbo, BUT He Must Distance Himself From IPOBism by Agbegbaorogboye: 9:10am On May 03, 2021 |
iammo: Adeboye who was in the state to ordain about 1000 pastors in RCCG said political leaders across board must not relegate the power of God to the background in their activities and policies in the interest of the citizens.https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/04/adeboye-visits-fayemi-condemns-bandits-attacks-on-traditional-rulers-in-ekiti/ That's for Ekiti Mr smart. Although it is unclear what transpired at the meeting, both leaders confirmed the talks via their Twitter handles.https://www.channelstv.com/2021/04/13/el-rufai-adeboye-meet-in-kaduna-after-release-of-kidnapped-rccg-members/ Hope you can rest with your silly conspiracies and inverted mindset now. This is for Kaduna I'm still waiting for your 2015 scoop |

Rosskiiku: Well, I do agree with him. The presidency is failed through and through presently. And a northern politician does not need to purge himself of any tribal or religious extremism because that might be the tonic that fuels support for him in the largely illiterate and poor North. Not economic issues, national cohesion or territorial integrity issues. Simply religion and tribe. All he then needs is to dangle a carrot in the face of any of the willing regions in the South and voila he is home. Same northern politician then spends eight years bastardising and balkanizing the country just to dangle his failures as carrot again to any of the desperate South. Talk about a vicious cycle of failure. |
