zedman1: I get your point...m West africa has the blackest skinned Africans and is the most backward. Tunisia and Egypt and the magreb countries like Morocco all have lighter skin and their countries are more developed than black Africa. What's wrong the black mans brain is a hatred of discipline and work.... ppl hate hard work. 1 Like |

codemaniacs: There they go again with their ego protection nonsense. It was Chinese labor and is still Chinese labor. Chinese Civil Engineering Construction Corporation is the contractor so where did the Nigerians come from?? It's a Chinese contract through and through. The Chinese also built Abuja Light Rail |

codemaniacs: Liar. The worst thing about Nigerians is they are the emptiest barrels but yet the most ego filled. Spits.... it cannot be mixed because it's a Chinese contract with no clause for local labor in the contract |

zedman1: What makes a country good or bad isn’t the people or even the leaders though the leadership is important bt it is the system that ultimately controls everything and everybody even the president is controlled by the system. If the president Controls the system then it is weak. In Nigeria and in most African countries the systems are CORRUPT and it is the CORRUPT systems that Corrupt the people’s mentality. That is why u see everyone is corrupt or a criminal. Whites also can be criminals they have it on them bt they have strong systems that control their mindset and activities. The law will come for u. This is what Africans and Nigeria lacks. So now if the president controls 80% of the system and then that president is corrupt automatically 60/80% of the system is automatically corrupted by actions or inaction. Hence we are constantly failing as a country. 1 Like |

codemaniacs: Under Chinese supervision because it's a Chinese contract. If the Nigerians were so good it would've been given to a Nigerian company. And the Chinese firm has no respect for Nigeria and it's Nigeria workers cos you can't do it urself. |

BigBashiru: you said it is a "chinese contract" then you also said "If the Nigerians were so good it would've been given to a Nigerian company" you're contradicting yourself just to counter my proof that the laborers are Nigerians... you don't know anything... every building whether bungalow or 1 story building is always supervised by the person that owns the contract... this tells me you've never had the privilege of visiting a project site and that you're just another paid keyboard warrior. 1 Like |

BigBashiru: The reason why the people blame the president is because he is the number one man of the people. The people appointed him to lead them out of their woes. This is because, they saw greatness in him. So, since the president is not living up to expectations, he will be blamed firstly. So, to whom much is given, much is expected. 1 Like |

Before they become leaders, they make the most impossible promises but once they get to their promise land, all promises are off. George Weah worked in Europe as a professional but now he is president and all his values (like all African presidents) are lost. Shame. |

Lazycapitalist2: While we expect our country to become paradise through not sweat and toil as if we believe God lied when the ground was cursed and the progress and peace we hope for will fall like manna from heaven. Our suffer never reach. When e reach we will stop being lazy and realise we must do work to achieve our goals and ambitions. I just hope our irresponsibility and laziness does not make us starve and reduce in number first. 1 Like |
