The fees depend on the school and course. I got admission in Stockholm university for a Master's Programme in Hydrology, Hydrogeology and Water Resources and the school fees is 280,000 sek.

If you have the money you can go ahead with the payment, if you don't just apply for next year, may be your luck will shine... Is not easy to get the scholarship..

Sweden is not like UK where you can easily get some unskilled jobs to support yourself. Language barrier is a major factor.

You can actually do part-time jobs as a student, Sweden speaks English as a second language, in fact, English language is more common in Sweden than many other countries with English as a second language.

Please I need advice whether is it is possible to pay for my upkeep and the remaining tuition of about 9kUSD while studying and working in Sweden.

I am married without a child yet.

Am not sure your right brother what your suppose to have in your account is the cost of living expenses for two years.
School fees part payment is a must before they go ahead to release informations about resident permit, accomodation, insurance in a case your course is for one year below.

Quickly send school mail but they can listen to you more when you you have paid and they have not received it .

Secondly try find someone abroad who can pay for you then send the equivalent to his account
