Even with all that's happening, your disdain for Igbos has not abated. Can't you now see that the Igbos have been right about Nigeria all along as a contraption that cannot work? With what is happening today regarding the unprovoked attacks by fulanis against other tribes you still think Igbos were the troublemakers? Iegendhero: 6 Likes 1 Share |

Iegendhero: I will rather watch the videos of one of the leaders of the Ijaw nation in the person of Asari Dokubo, and what he has to say about Biafra. That counters any arranged Ijaw tales of Biafra, Concocted by terrorist Fulanis and their Yoruba slaves 6 Likes 1 Share |

DMerciful: This is not a matter of disdain and we are not talking about Fulani Herdsmen killings on this thread. This thread is a about the atrocities committed by the Nigerian military against the minorities in the civil war. I also echoed the fact that the Igbos also committed same against minorities. I accept the fact that Nigeria military did but your kinsmen Ofoigbo failed to accept Biafran military wrongs against the minorities even with glaring pictorial and video evidence. As per Fulani herdsmen and their attrocities, they are a menace to the society and I think each region is handling them in the way they think they can. That good that we are all in cohesion about dealing with them. If a civil were to break out currently, I am 100% sure that the Yorubas won’t fight on the side of the North again. We won’t’! 7 Likes 1 Share |

OfoIgbo: Lol I thought you said they were in Benin republic IDP? Which one is dead again? Try to be original and stop copying my dissing. The massacred Ebonyi indigenes in the grave can’t eat ISI-EWU while my brethren that went to Benin are back in their various home in Yewa eating Amala and gbegiri. Which do you prefer my friend? 5 Likes 1 Share |

OfoIgbo: Lol watch the video of a politician Asari that is neither here or there against journals and videos of Ijaw citizens celebrating an open carnival. I rather choose the video from numerous Ijaw citizens. Don’t you just like how the first man that was interviewed spoke? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2f8tSrnWSY0 2 Likes 1 Share |

Iegendhero: I believe Igboid has already asked you to give details of the Biafran army units involved in these massacres. I brought out the point that the chief of defence staff will have to be held responsible for such massacres, if proven. But of course I know you will not be able to prove anything. Efiong couldn't have authorised the massacre of his own people 5 Likes 1 Share |

OfoIgbo: You are confusing me by using two separate moniker. You and I know you are the same as Igboid. We have been through this route before so quit these games. I have a video evidence of people relating their history with several people commenting and I also showed you scholarly evidence. I would be a fool by wasting my time finding the name of Biafran army unit because if I do that you will still ask me to wake up the dead and ask them if it’s true they were massacred. Are you not thesame folks that deny Awo/Ojukwu prison issue even with the full grasp of cogent evidence? Don’t think I’m trying to convince you? No, I know it’s not possible. I am only doing this for independent mind on this thread. Those are my target audience, you are only helping in giving this thread more views. The more you quote me, the more the thread expand and the more people view and read our comments. You see it’s a win-win for me? 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Iegendhero: Of course. I don't know these citizens you're talking about. Meanwhile Asari was a president of Ijaw Youths Council, and his aunt was killed by Nigerians for her pro-Biafra beliefs. I am sure if his aunt had shown allegiance to Nigeria, they would have used her in one of these concocted videos to claim that Biafrans killed her family. Igbos are used to these shenanigans 6 Likes 1 Share |

Iegendhero: Nwokem you are already confusing yourself by thinking that Igboid and I, are the same. I am an Nri-Igbo man, and I remember you and TAO claiming that EAST means WEST, when Benin chiefs told visiting Portuguese explorers about an Oghene in the east that authorised the crowning of Benin obas. A fact that was confirmed by Eze NRI Obalike who wasn't even aware of the Portuguese visit to Benin hundreds of years before. You will have to provide the Biafran army unit s that took part in these massacres. Isheagu people mentioned the Nigerian army unit, and their unit commander, followed by a list of those massacred. You can't just make wild statements or consult concocted sites and recordings and wish that will fly with me, or any other intelligent Igboman. 10 Likes 1 Share |

OfoIgbo: Lol you are just falling in the pit I dug. You even remembered the thread lol which just give credence to my assertions that you are same as igboid. I think showing video evidence of people talking about their history even going as far as declaring an open event for said occurrence is more better than wasting my time mentioning army units which you will obviously still deny. Igboid: My friend dad in his 60s said that his Elder brother was killed by Biafra soldiers in Midwestern region when they invaded. His only crime was that he was like a Hausa man. They shot him. In 2007, an urhrobo man who had lived all his life in Benin told me that the Biafrans rounded up persons who they felt were of northern extraction and executed them all in Benin city. You have to understand why many minority tribes werr angry at the Biafrans. They did things wrongly. Go and read the novel When a child is motherless You will get an account of the civil war in riverine communities by the author. 2 Likes |

And we thought it was only Asaba. Nobody can hide history forever. Come to think of it, Ogbemudia is a hero in Bini. The same Bini that are claiming to birth people speaking Igbo, have Igbo culture and appearance in Delta state. Atleast now we can see the type of birthing they mean. It was actually birth by conquest. Tụfịakwa 6 Likes 1 Share |

Daum: No such murder of Urhobo people happened in Bini City. Those have always been stories you Urhobos and Edos made up to soothe your conscience in your involvement of massacre of Anioma people in Bini City and in their towns in Delta State when the FG arrived. Your stories are usually vague. No name of victims and their village/town, no mention of Biafran unit or officer is ever mentioned. It's always stories of *my father's friend*, my mother's uncle,my friend's wife. They are usually kept as vague as possible. 7 Likes 1 Share |

We should really be talking about the Edo massacre of Ika, Ukwuani and Enuani people. This has to be catalogued and made available to the latter day Igbo-deniers. There has to be a cataloguing of these atrocities by supposed brothers of Ika and other Anioma people 4 Likes |

Igboid: First of all I never said the people murdered were urhobo men. I said an Urhobo man told me in 2007, then I barely even understood the cause of the Civil War. He said Biafra soldiers killed people in Benin city. As for my friend's father What does he want to gain from telling me that his elder brother was killed by Biafra soldiers. His elder brother was his father's first son. I only see that you are trying to say that biafran troops didn't commit any atrocities in Midwestern region. 1 Like |

Iegendhero:Haven't you heard the statement "under duress" You occupied forcefully someone's land after shelling and want us to believe that the soldiers defending that area shelled the houses and ran away at the sight of you. How did you manage to get there in the first place and your motive for going there should be the question. OfoIgbo:Bini/Edo laid waste to more than 5 towns in Anioma. Ika of Agbor joined them to kill the other Igbo of Anioma. You now see where the Ika and Bini link was established but people from Enuani don't know their history at all. Ika of Agbor has always been the wolf in sheep clothing. BKayy: I never disputed about the massacre. I am aware of the popular Asaba massacre. But you and your fellow igbo brother has denied any wrong doing by biafran troops in the Midwest. I never talked about Biafra troops carrying out a massacre in the Midwest, but I made mention of them killing innocent unarmed civilians. I gave a report of a personal family friend and boom.... I was called a propagandist. 1 Like |

Daum: Biafran troops committed no mass murder in Midwest. No such thing happened. What he stands to gain from Making up stories of his elder brother being killed by Biafran soldiers, the same thing Germans who deny Jewish Holocaust and Turks who deny Armenian genocide want to gain. They want to soothe their conscience and justify their own atrocities. Omoigui who started the narrative of Biafran troops massacring non Igbo westerners had been tasked for years now to provide names of such victims, their home town, the Biafran unit and commanders involved. We have not gotten any response from him yet. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Daum: What's in the link? The one you quoted where it was said that Biafran atrocities were smaller relative to those of FG? That's a vague empty political statement. And mind you, atrocity doesn't necessarily mean genocide or murder, acts of cruelty like flogging of civilians, taking their farm produce without purchase, by belligerent lone soldiers acting in lone capacity can as well be classified as atrocities. But a genocide/ mass massacre of the people of Midwest? No such thing happened. Let them provide the name of towns in non Igbo areas where Biafrans committed such atrocities and the names of the victims, their villages and the Biafran unit and commanders who led the so called "atrocities" 6 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Remembering The Isheagu Massacre Of May 1968 by Igboid: 10:10am On May 04, 2021 |
OfoIgbo: It's a very interesting point of history. You know part of the reason these Edoids were aggressive towards the Biafran troops passage through their territory on the March towards Lagos? Because Ojukwu appointed an Anioma man as the governor of the region to replace their son Ejoor. They saw the Anioma appointment as Igbo appointment and plan of domination against them. The fact that Osadebey an Anioma and not a Bini man was the rightful leader of the region before Nzeogwu struck was easily muted by these lots. So once the FG recaptured Midwest, they saw it as an ample opportunity to trim the Igbos of Midwest. Yet today we are being told stories of how these same Igbos they massacred are supposedly Bini descendants. 7 Likes 1 Share |
