If you ever abandon this job and go to Dubai,you will regret it. Dubai is messed up after Corona saga. They are indirectly turning blacks to modern slaves in Dubai. You will work and have less pay. Moreover,to get resident permit there is not easy now. Many Nigerians there have turned into agents luring people to come to Dubai and collecting agent fee from you. Your guy may be one of them. Travel to Europe if you must

Even pre corona that has always been the case in Dubai on black immigrants.same happens with immigrants from Indian,Pakistan and the rest. Let him go to Dubai at his own peril.

Barbeque fish business is flourishing in Asaba. I know graduates who re benwfiting from it everyday .So if you aren't the pride type, you can benefit from it...

Forget about that ur federal job if you want to move in this life, what is 110k a month when ordinary road sweeper is earning 1400aed about 210k in dubai, with ur attestation bobo any job u knack in uae must pay u anything less than 300 to 400k ... youths stop wasting ur time in Nigeria migrate to somewhere else and secure ur future... as for Nigeria buhari and tinubu has reduced it to nothing through corruption

If you leave your federal job for Dubai you will regret it, it’s not a curse it’s a fact!!
I have stayed in Dubai and trust me I know how things are there!!
You see any Middle East country is not a hustling land, all those folks saying they are doing fine in Dubai we know them very well, majority of them are unrepentant liars, I have come a couple of them, I worked here and I had to cancel my visa to bolt to another country!! I’ll choose Azerbaijan over Dubai

This is my monthly report for the month of April alone, and people are here shouting that 111 k job is okay, in short I cry for civil servants in this country, the expenses was high because of I carried out a renovation in my showroom, self employment is the future.

If you think the cost here is high, wait until you know the rent cost in Dubai. Your friend is possibly doing some bell boy job. Never relocate without proper planning. I have a friend that left for Dubai earlier this year. He is an IT professional who even has a foreign degree and certifications but still has no job as I speak to you.
Like someone said, take a leave and go do your survey, it will inform your decision.

Guy, please I'm in Dubai and I can categorically tell you to keep the government job. Dubai is too hard, it takes only a determined and hardwork to make it.
Though I have made it but it took me years due to some frustration I get when I first came.
Please keep the Job, it's better to earn 100k in Nigeria than 250k in Dubai.
But if you still insist to go, you can chat me up for more details but you must be ready to work hard and spend.

My dear Op, please stick to the Government job you have in Nigeria with the current salary, then plan your way to better country like Canada or any one in Europe. It might take you few years and money to achieve, please be committed to your dream.

I have a friend in UAE right now who ditched a Federal Government job of 150k monthly but he is earning 1,200Dirhams monthly with a lot of regrets.

Please, don't leave your government job.

Please don't mislead people here.... Tell me how many Nigerians that earn that amount in UAE. Nigerians I know that earn up to AED10k are the ones that are into safety jobs and work with big companies like ADNOC. And for u as an African to get to the level of earning up to 10k here, u must have lived in UAE for so long

more than 70% earn 20,000 per month, u can't live in the city if u earn 3,000AED except u want to live in a dormitory, share room with people and have less than 4hrs commuting

Money is relative. Tailor your life along your earnings. When I was a Corper, I saw civil servants earning N50,000 and building houses.

My salary a month is not even up to $70 but I bought a land here in Lagos and I've almost completed it.....and I know alot of people that earns Hundred of thousands and don't even own a pieces (not full,not half plot of land) everything na grace,right timing, focus,being contented and determination!!!!
