An uneducated ministers.
Just imagine what a public office holder is saying, so what qualifies to be federal offence

Now we really know why the government don't wanna do something about the menace ravaging our lands, and someone will come out to shit like Nnamdi Kanu is wrong for what he is doing...

If banditry and kidnapping which oftentimes, result to the killing of innocent people are not a federal offences, what qualifies as a federal offence?

Sometimes I wonder how dese people reason. After sniffing cow dung, they come on a public space and talk rubbish.

From the so-called educated ones that only learnt how to read and write english to the ones pushing cows, all reason d same backward way.

Goodness me... These are the illiterate things holding important positions in the govt nd ruling sane and well educated ppl. Tufia!

No need getting overtly emotional over this. I believe Lai Mohammed landed a truism in an counter-productive manner. Banditry according to the law can only be prosecuted by states in locale where such occurrence takes place. If that's the position of the law, it then implies that states should oil their legal system and diligently prosecute those caught....as Lagos is doing same to Evans

But how many states in Nigeria have their own police to combat 'state offence'? Helinues, officialgarri, seunmsg, uptimum123, blinking001, tunjiajayi, omonnakoda, thebosstrevor, naptu2, sarrki seen how your beloved country is full of confusion with its useless constitution. There are 'state crimes' but last time we tried to create state police(WNSN), it was all noise from all angle. May it never be well with the founding fathers of this confused entity, all of them including Pa Awo(even though i'm a disciple) and the useless millitary lots. May all of them never know peace.

Go and read your Constitution very well before believing one delusional goat. Every Nigerian has the right to a peaceful environment, the right to liberty, this much is guaranteed by the Nigerian Constitution. What is the result of kidnapping? What is the result of banditry? Are humans harmed or killed? Does it threaten people's liberty? If the answer is yes then the Nigerian Constitution gives the Federal government the power to overule the states or declare a state of emergency. This is the 21st century, let nobody bobo you grin grin grin

As Lagos is doing to Evans because Lagos arrested Evans using state police. Shebi? It wasn't same federal police that arrested same Evans. Defender of failure. How many of the states have or control any state police to tame and curb so called 'state crimes'. mtchew

This man again? I just hope he will make it after 2023 Elections going back to his village because people are really angry with most of his comments. We are faced with insecurity problem and someone is busy talking about Federal and state laws when in fact it is the Federal govt that controls everything when it comes to arrest, detention, and the prosection of suspects (enforcement). The police, army and Navy etc are being controlled by the same federal government and here is this old cargo talking trash and attempting to bury the truth with lies.

The Nigerian National Assembly passed the Terrorism Prevention Act of 2011, which was signed into law on June 3, 2011, by President Goodluck Jonathan.

And during Jonathan Administration, a few people were charged federally using the Act.

Nigeria also rectifies the UN convention on terrorism, which proscribe hostage aka kidnapping among other terrorist Acts.
