kodred: My oga longest time... How u dey na? To all who thinks I buy into the idea, no! Not totally. I'm only trying to analyse the deal in terms of payment and bonus structure, now What I'm trying to say is that, especially if you read my last paragraph well you would understand what I actually meant by asking those who have drove with moove to check the average number of rides they'd done a week. Of course there is no possibility of always reaching the threshold of even 50 consecutive trip weekly on Uber alone, lets not talk about the period of DTO because we can't say weather is a straight 36 or 48 months or weather it's within a stipulated numbers of year say btw 3-5yrs. You don't expect sb to work for straight 3-4yrs na! Are they mad??!! I think the highest number of trip I'd done with uber in a month when I was still driving with them was 61 trips some timez I do 45 trips while other times I manage 25/37 trips. Offlines won't even allow me rest or go online, there are times I don't even go online for like 3weekz stretch. Bolt has the largest market share both In Lagos and in Nigeria at large so I seriously doubt if a driver can manage 60trips for 4 weekz straight. Anyways, it's their business plan not my and not any of you guys lamenting over it and you would be surprise that in 3-4yrs time we would see somebody(a foolish goat) that did it successfully. no impossibility in Nigeria. So in a nut shell,it's a good deal if payment period is spread along 5-6years period, meaning that a driver must finish payment within this period and in any 30, 36 or 48 month within this period. If this be the case then it therefore you may want to agree with me that its a good deal and which ever the case maybe such a driver is actually pay less than 5m for the car base of the bonus he/she gets in return. |

Slickleo: e go shock say such a app won't have a single regular customer. Look every business is tie down to customers satisfaction, mind you before you even think of starting a business you must have carried out yoir market research and survey to know how much a custoner will be willing to pay for your propose product. Unless if it's a monopolistic market then you wouldn't be needing that so the producer just fix the price( its still has to be very reasonable) but in this case customers has a lot of options because it a huge competitive line of business. What I suggest Indriver should do at this point is remove that dragging of trips request and change it to 1 driver 1 rider request option maybe for like 60seconds for the bidding process and if it doesn't favour the driver then it can go to the nearest driver closest to the rider making the request. Or better still to the general dragging ground. And if the driver doesnt want to go on the ride the skip button should be programmed that the request won't come to him again while it goes to the next person for bidding/acceptance. To make it fun and more atractive to drivers, include load fee and extra passenger charges, if its more than 2 riders add 50% to the fare and 60-70% for load (not hand luggage), categorise luggage as a little bag or just a box or 2, anything more than a hand luggage should be categorise as an extra load or luggage. Even Airlines charge for luggage, interstate buses do as well and our danfo driver are not equally left out on this practice of charging extra for loads because this increases the amount of fuel it will take for a plane to airborne or a vehicle to move from point A to B. The more the load the move fuel needed to move an automobile. Even our generating sets at home or on sites are not left out on this, the more load on the generator set the more consumption rate. If Indriver can improve on all of these things i tell you bolt and uber will be 1st and 2nd from behind. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Felicity001: Feli go and read that their terms again. It's either you pay 50k per week for 36months, with no incentive nor Bonus or you cover 60 trips per week for 48months, of which they'll collect all the profit for the 60 trips weekly then give you fuel bonus. 50k per week for 36 months is over 7.2m 60 trips per week can give you over 70/80k net. They'll take all and give you small thing for fuel, which still equates to paying over 50k per week. So how did you arrive at that 3.8m and all you were talking about on your previous post? 3 Likes |

Matrix414:Since its you that knows how your body is reacting to the long driving hours, you'll have to adjust time spent behind the wheel. I leave home 10am and leave anywhere I am by 5-6pm heading back home, I can't even leave home early morning cos of fear of kidnap and insecurity in the state, even factory workers no dey spend over 14 hrs in a place not to talk about you spending over 14-15hrs behind the wheel everyday, if the car didn't break down, your body surely will. 9 Likes |

CodedTobx: Did you send any message to rider? If yes then you shoot yourself for leg. Don’t ever send anyhow message to riders (except local olosho or runs guys) Let me share a scenario with dis lady last week Picked her up in one estate, she was so nice one phone directing me and sweet voice. For those who can’t read long epistle let me continue here... Cos this is the main point I’m driving at. So I sent her a msg “ kindly check your account maybe the money was reversed as I have not gotten the alert” She replied “Sorry it was reversed send your account number again “ I did immediately but no response Till next day no alert no reply I just reported to bolt and bolt gave me 500 naira compensation and blocked her account Next morning dts 3rd day She started calling me up and down R: Oga wat is wrong with you, how can you say I didn’t pay you and block my account cos of 1k Me: that’s how u guys do, doing fake alerts and forming cooperate lady. ( she was in suit and cleaned up dt day, but na my opportunity to give her back) Na so she run mad begin shout on phone like mad woman. While I was laughing cos e sweet my belle. Long story shout She kept calling me asking dt I should check my account , she sent debit alert to me, bla bla I checked my account online 1 k no enter for past 5 days so I was confident. Next thing foreign number called me. Bolt support. See interview session ooh The lady was on dis riders side already claiming she saw all our chats and text messages. With the debit alert. I had to send my statement of account to convince her, it wasn’t easy at all. Bolt said why did I use different account from the one they have in their app I use zenith bank in bolt App But gave the lady Access bank account. I had to quickly report in the App again that it’s fake debit alert cause It didn’t reflect in my account. Cos d interrogation didn’t go well, they believed the rider. All this epistle I’m writing is to let you guys know that text messages is a tool that can finish your career. This weekend d lady sent me a message again dt I’m wicked and heartless for not unblocking her account. I know in my heart dt d problem might be from d bank but 1. her attitude won’t let me pity her (next time she will respect drivers) 2. Bolt will think I lied all dis while 3. She should be d one asking her bank not me. Be careful what you send to rider. I have another one dt owes me 4,300 naira and off for 4days before I reported her. She paid me 5k and beg to unblock account. 14 Likes 1 Share |

Similar thing happened to me. She was with her mum, very aggressive lady. R: please, don't use map. I know where I'm going M: ok R: turn here, drive straight, no, yes... M: we have been going in circles since. Just give the name of where you're going and I'll drive you there R: ok(reluctantly) Finally we got there M: fare is 1200 R: what I pay 500 for... Infact I won't pay u anything sef.(note she was with her children) M: ok, no problem. She just got down with mum and children walking away. One mind said change it for her. Another mind advised against it. Just gave her 1* and reported her. After like 4 hrs she was calling me, I didn't even respond. Meanwhile, bolt informed me she's been blocked BAZ001: 5 Likes 1 Share
