I have a B.sc in Biochemistry and I haven't worked with it yet , I intend switching to nursing once I'm there, still waiting on ITA though. However, just to be sure : I'm a female hairstylist, how easy is it making ends meet with this over there?.. Will I have to learn again over there or I can easily fix and work on clients at my place? |

Kayyyy: Hello Kayyyy..my wife has already landed hence I'm only going with my COPR, a copy of hers and her visa page. Hence I do not require an authorization letter. I dont know if this applies to you as well or you are traveling for the 1st time? |

Kenny242:you can try study route if you have the money. For permanent residency route you need an extra diploma or master and 3 years experience to get enough points. https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled 1 Like |

Lagbaja88: Like how much is needed to for migration using student route. I am just regretting not going for Msc after graduation. Here's my brief profile.. Bsc quantity surveying 2018, second class lower. Worked in bank for just 3 months before moving to personal business. Now I have gotten a federal government job and the salary isn't impressive. Reason why I de consider migrating to Canada. I am 28 years old btw. What do you think is the best and easiest route for Canada migration for me? Thanks |

hello guys, I am an international student here in canada and I would like to ask a few questions which I would appreciate if anyone gave me answers to: 1. Can an international student work for more than 20 hours of it is a volunteer role? 2. If i have a normal 20 hours job , can i still do a volunteer job which will be unpaid? I will appreciate answers to this Thank you all |

Please is it advisable to buy a cheap laptop in Nigeria with the option of upgrading to a better laptop when I get to Canada? I want to know if I can get a good laptop over there and pay monthly |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by olasubomy: 12:27am On May 06, 2021 |
sleekcheek: It has advantages on both sides. For example, if you get a laptop from Nigeria, you get the advantage of getting one at a lower price, but you would have to pay some amount of dollars for its repair in Canada if it gets faulty. On the flip side, if you buy over here in Canada, though you pay more considering the exchange rate, you have protection/warranty for the product. Walmart stores sell their electronic items relatively cheaply compared to other stores, so I would say you try Walmart. You would find Walmart stores in any province in Canada. Regarding paying for the product monthly, I am not so sure about that, except you already have a credit history here; that option might not be available for you for now since you would still be new in the country. This is my own sincere view. 5 Likes |
