Good day Mama's,pls help me with baby lotions/cream to buy o. I used ori for my two sons but once they started going out,their skin would start looking dark and dull. This my last born(na the last be this by God's grace) I will start with ori for a month and then use lotion but I don't know which lotion to buy. I don't even mind using it from day one.

Use Aveeno. But is quite expensive ur kid will have a perfect skin

Good day everyone.. been a silent follower for a couple of weeks now.. congrats to all the new mamas.. I’m a first time mum and I’m 6weeks gone... since the day I discovered I was pregnant... it’s been hell for me.. it started with DH complaining of me running temperature at night.. as at then I was expecting my period but the only sign I keep getting was serious and excruciating cramps.. until past my expected period date.. I decided to do a home test and it came out positive �. I had cold and catarrh and decided to visit the hospital.. I was confirmed pregnant with upper respiratory infection. I was placed on drugs for one week.. I noticed I wasn’t getting any better and went back to the hospital only to be admitted.. the drugs didn’t do shit�� I was discharged on the 3rd day.. I have been so unsettled and weak these past weeks.. constant urge to vomit and spit.. the spitting part is making me so uncomfortable.. I can’t eat as much as I used to before, constant stomach bloating and lightheaded. Mama that had these symptoms, how did you cope with it especially the spitting and vomiting ( sometimes I do feel relieved when I vomit �).. is there anything I can do to help relieve my symptoms.. I’m a shadow of myself right now �.. I can’t go out neither can I cook �please I need your advice!

Sorry mama, as the saying goes, "it is the first trimester package". I just finished mine o. I had to take each day as it goes. Eat small portions frequently. And eat only what you can tolerate for now. Rest oooooo.

As for me, I couldn't drink water, couldn't cook only took malt or lipton tea, and ate small portions even if I vomitted later, but I am 14weeks now ( second trimester), I can eat well and drink water now , can't even drink the lipton tea and malt as I did in the first trimester, chicken is still a turn off.

So sorry about this, Ma. I had the same experience. For the vomiting, I just vomited. I didn't hold it back. Once I vomit, I'm relieved. So don't hold it. For the spitting, I licked bitter kola. I did NOT chew or swallow it o. It contains caffeine, and it is not healthy for baby. I will just cut a small portion and put it in my mouth. That small portion can stay in my mouth all day. It helped me to stop spitting. I also did TomTom and Vicks lemonplus sweet at some point. Just do it in moderation. It's well..

No appetite, coupled with nausea n vomiting, headache ....finding it difficult to sleep, extreme weakness....I wish tomorrow was August....Kai never knew pregnancy was this beautiful, sweet n stressful. I feel ur pain...it is well!
U shud see d work of d hematinic with time.. You may also incorporate watermelon in ur daily fruit intakes,
try meat organs (kidney & liver most esp) U shud be able to eat if pepper dey dr. Hospital too far juice also works wonder.
For foods, u may try blands till u regain ur appetite little by little.
I believe other mamas wud help us shook mouth.
May God's covenant of easiness work well for us in the rem. part of the journey.

Congrats Mama!!! Your pregnancy almost pulled a fast one on you.. one minute your showing slight symptoms, the next your seeing your period ... but ehh How does one sleep during contractions? Mama you be power horse, I salute you. Doctors keep embarrassing themselves, why can't they keep an open mind, anything is possible, I mean they are dealing with individuals with different threshold for pain. Like Dr! Bear that in mind.

It seems jaundice is very common among most new borns. I didn't know this until now

i don't know if this will work for you, when i first noticed am pregnant i had all these symptoms, but when i spoke to my Dr. she advised i add vit b6 supplement and zinc supplement to my drugs which i did and all those symptoms disappeared, though i never knew it was those supplements that helped because i even came here to complain of no symptoms but i later went back and complained to her again she said is the drugs that helped me, I do have symptoms now but not that disturbing, like on sunday i was so down with the symptoms till around 3pm, this morning i was very cold till around 12pm, the symptoms i have now are minimal and manageable and i will be 9weeks tomorrow. You can ask your gynea about these supplements and know if you can try them.

Sorry about your experience but I think it is normal. My wife wanted to kill me with vomit. Lol . I would stay in the bathroom with her till she was done vomiting. First trimester was "hell".

Please mamas come to my aid o. I had an episiotomy and was told at the hospital to only wash with warm water. Now the site is swollen and its giving me some difficulties. My mil is a nurse, she told me to add salt and antiseptic to warm water and sit on it. Please whats best I use?

Mamas in the house please who vommitted in their third trimester till they gave birth.

I thought this vommitting thing will end I'm in my third trimester and it's still vommitting everyday.

What and how did you Mamas cope? Is vommitting normal in 3rd trimester? Any drug recommendations?

Good morning, get a big bowl or basin ,add warm water(diluted) it either u use salt or deltol add to the water sit in the basin for 15mins. Do this morning n night...you will be fine

I have been ttc after my last child, but no show, so I decided to stop trying and reduce my weight a bit cus I was weighing 97kg..surprisenly the following month I missed my period, na so pregnancy enter oo.

Through out the first trimester it was hell for me, I hardly eat, sometimes a day will pass without eating, in fact the Ms was terrible..
Fast forward to second and third trimester , I enjoyed the bump no more sickness.. Until when I went to antenatal and my pb was 140/100...but with my previous pregnancies it's usually 110 or 120..

At 39 weeks I checked my bp in a pharmacy and it was 180/90...
I quickly rushed to the hospital it was around 7 pm... The doctor checked and said my bp was high... So he said since am due, that I have to be induced... He gave me some drugs for the bp and also a bottle of Castor oil, he said I should finish the whole bottle an hour after dinner,then come back the following morning for proper induction (that's if I didn't fall into labor)... Hmmm that night wasn't funny oo, I went to loo more than 8 times, it remained for me to excrete my intestine... I was so weak and was having little cramps..

When I got to the hospital in the morning , he checked and my bp was 150/80, he admitted me, I told them that am not feeling any labour pain, and I was 2cm dilated...they now gave me a hot drip that lasted from 10 am to 5 pm, yet I wasn't feeling any contraction.. Around 11 am that morning while I was still on drip, I felt like someone who has not eaten for days, I begged the nurses to help me buy food outside and they said they can't go out once on duty... So I told them to remove the drip let me find something and eat, as soon as I stood up, I passed out, that was when they rushed and got food for me, those nurses are very annoying I swear,the matron came and checked my cervix and it was 5.5cm dilated but no contraction,they kept monitoring my bp and baby's heartbeat...it was around 7pm that my husband came with better food and he stayed with me...

Around 8 pm, they gave me two injections I don't even know the name, even after the injection yet no contraction, then around 11 pm the doctor came and gave me a drug to place under my tongue... Not until 2 a.m, I started having contractions that comes every 3 minutes and lasts for 50 seconds... The pains became stronger and comes every minutes, the pains where so unbearable unlike my other pregnancies, I went to hell and came back. Those nurses left me and was gisting, they don't even come to check on me... It's my husband that goes to call them.

When it was around 6 am, I felt like a big poo want to come out, I told those nurse , one said I should poo on the bed, the other said I should not push that I will give myself tear, I kept shouting I want to poop, then I pushed and they started running Helter Skelter, one of the nurses said lets break the water, when they did that the water splashed every where.. Both of them went out again to get the delivery mat, I have pushed and the baby's head was out when they came back, they asked me to push two more times and my baby was out. I even passed out after delivery... I will never use that hospital again, the nurses are something else. My baby weighed 3.5kg , I thought I was going to have the worst tears because I pushed on my own, but right now we're 8 days today I don't even feel any pain down there.

At the bolded, I thought I'm the only one who hates that VE. As in, I hate it sooooooooooooo much. I mean, is there no other way than prodding and squirming hands inside my something (you need to see my face right now). It's very uncomfortable and annoying and everything I don't like
