And what are the equivalent Kenyan figures? I need to have a good laugh.

Suffice to say that SA's motor exports dwarf Kenya's ENTIRE EXPORTS, roses and all!

What is South Africa imports? I also need to have good laugh.

In 2019, South Africa's trade deficit amounted to around 17.52 billion U.S. dollars

Zero SUM GAME smiley - and could have been worse without minerals.

Of course, everyone in Kenya speaks English, Kiswahili, and their mother tongue. Your educational language policy is one huge mess.

You seem to know a lot about SA's trade stats (SA in general), pity it seems you're avoiding Kenyan figures. I understand though, they're really underwhelming. Don't make me go look for them now, I don't want to get shocked shocked. At least if you present them you can spin some sort of narrative. You trade deficit better not be higher than your exports (I already know it is though undecided)

We are not complaining about our trade deficit. Our currency is stable. Our forex reserve more than enough. We don't have forex control. What exactly is the problem here? Kenya economy is growing .

Try keep up. Here are the latest stats from March 2021:

South Africa's trade surplus grows to $3.67 billion (ksh392 billion shocked in March

South Africa's trade surplus widened to 52.77 billion rand ($3.67 billion) in March from a revised surplus of 31.22 billion rand in February, the South African Revenue Service said.

The surplus was the widest on record, topping the record seen in June last year and well above a market forecast of 25 billion rand.

Exports increased by 28.9% on a month-on-month basis to 168.29 billion rand, while imports rose 16.3% to 115.52 billion rand, the revenue Service said.

By choice - they restrict height - but where is proof that Ghana dwarf building has anything to do with approval permits or zoning. The entire city of Accra is a hodgepodge of all sorts of ramshackle therefore I doubt there is any planning or zoning.

Their lack of tall buildings, therefore, is due to their informal economy, more than any zoning laws.

Accra restricts all building heights to 15 floors by choice.

The entire Nairobi is a puddle of slums and it all comes back to the absurd level of poverty which makes home owning impossible for 10 million Nairobi residents.

That also explain why they don't consume enough electricity to make that dark country bright which also explains the level of decay and undeveloped nature of kenya

Yet we have 23 flour building that looks like Kenke dress. How did they get their approval? I even doubt if Ghana has any approval of building plans - it appears to be such a mess - sort build whatever you want.

it was in a special case where the rules had to be bent to allow it. ..

All building plans goes for approval before building permits are awarded.

Ghana is not Kenya where anything goes .

Your own economy is highly dependent on 2 commodities which have a fixed demand.

You are going nowhere

The result of your city planning is there to see with naked eyes.
I see the little approval you do is completely gov run.
The public, neighborhoods, and interested stakeholders do not have a role.
No wonder anything gets approved.
In Kenya the hardest permit of getting approval - is the public and your neighborhood - and you have to do the environmental assessment for any big project bla bla.
You cannot come and erect your tin-roof hovel next to my house. I have the right to object.

I like fixed demand. And we are definitely going somewhere better...this year we will have Africa's BIGGEST ECONOMIC GROWTH - projected at 8%. Sound like we are going to soon overtake Morocco...and become top 5 economy in Africa

As for South Africa - DEAD AS DODO economy
