What you guys don get is that, at least show some promise when you start, stones was always glued to the bench, but when he sparked back to life, Laporte is now the bench warmer.

Torres for all his hype is a bench warmer have sub appearances here and there, but he tends to get going when he comes on.

McFred have played together often times so you expect the chemistry to be there. How often does Ole line up like he did yesterday? Do you expect the team to pick up and play at the same level we are used to when bench warmers that seldom start or get enough minutes play?

Watch City games and you'd see that Pep endeavors to rotate to keep his options on the bench sharp. Jesus, Sterling, Rodri, Mendy etc are not super humans, if he doesn't play them for 4-5 games, they'll lose steam this he endeavors to give them enough minutes. The only players who are sure of their place is KDB (Those who play FPL will argue that Pep cannot be trusted with his starting 11), Ederson, Gundogan, Diaz and Mahrez...The other roles sees heavy rotation...It's almost the same at Chelsea...

You can't say we don't have quality on the bench, Telles was on of the best LB in Portugal and was highly rated before we signed him. VDB too was highly rated at Ajax and at some point, Madrid were lilooking at his direction. Bailly isn't a bad CB, for the money we plaid for Amad, I expected that we'd see more of him in the last 20-25mins of games just to access how ready he is to take up the RWF spot ahead of the summer just so we don't go and splash the cash for another RWF after signing Amad and Pellestri for good money...Matic can still do a job, at least if managed properly so, we have got quality on that bench or rather some quality so Ole should do more to get the best out of those guys after all they get paid too.

Pep is obviously a better coach than Olé, so if he uses players better, it’s quite clear.

However, take note that Pep has no patience with underperforming players or those he deems doesn’t fit his style of play.

Fred won’t be at this club if Pep was coach and he dropped those poor performances earlier. Nolito is a good example.

I never said we don't have quality, for the Mcfred position, pogba always holds on to the ball too much and gets easily dispossessed in that position putting us under pressure.
Matic has become too slow, except we play a low block, but on a high line, imagine there is a counter and you have him, Maguire and lindelof as the repairing unit of defense(I can't even imagine that).
VDB in there always seems to be on the move, hardly holds on to the ball, last time he played there he offered little to nothing defensively.
I don't like the Mcfred combo, but none of them can be the standing DM alone with another pogba-VDB like midfielder.

For telles, he defensive lapses has always been there, even before he was brought this was complained about.

Ole doesn't seem like he is willing to take risks (you and I know why), but at least this bench players have seen his style of management, they should take any opportunity that presents itself!!!!

No matter how little, take your chances when you see them, when James picked form, he started 3-4 straight matches if I am not mistaken.
