Ederson is not really a good shot stopper in my opinion. He hardly keeps City in games with world-class saves. He is always conceding cheap goals

Pep isn’t looking for a ‘shot-stopper’, else he won’t have dropped Hart so easily for Caballero.

Pep’s tactics, when utilized well, always cover whatever shot-stopping fault his goalkeeper might have. He’s more concerned about ball-playing abilities.

Had Ole started Pogba and Cavani against Leeds, it would have been 2 points behind City before Pep plays another game.

Stupid decisions by Ole is why he keeps failing.

I don't like Ole but I will defend his decision not to play Pogba against Leeds.

Of course, tuchel will be aware and studying, but making him experience first hand what your players are and all is just what I feel pep is trying to avoid.

Pep and tuchel will definitely meet in the final with their full main squad(barring injuries) and that will be the first time they'll be doing such (even tho that will be their 3rd meeting). It'll be the grandest stage and winner takes all.
Don't use this match to judge.

Whether Chelsea loses this match or not, they'll still be in high confidence getting into the finals. It'll be a tactical and interesting match tho

None of the top 6 clubs won at Leeds, Ole should have gone there with his full ammo and make sure the 3 points were secured.

I am not using this match, not at all but this Chelsea are akin to that of Conte in his EPL winning season, very difficult to beat because they have a lot of men at the back when defending and even when attacking, they're never short of men forward Thanks to the lung-bursting runs of Kante and Mount...

Playing against Chelsea with your main players might give an inkling to tuchel on what he's to expect in the final. Knowing how smart tuchel is, I won't give him that pleasure.
Winning it today or winning it next week doesn't matter, what man city needs is a win in any of their remaining matches, so they can still use their next match to win the league. Also, it gives the main players that rest getting into the final.

If I'm pep, I'm not sure I'll lose sleep over this loss. The league is already technically captured, the bigger pix is the UCL and from his squad non played the match bar rodri and diaz.

Chief, it seems u don't understand what defeat does to u psychologically... It creates a mental block that makes you makes mistakes. That is why people celebrate small wins. It's boost your morale which is needed to push forward in anything you do.

While fasting? Champions league game was played in the night kante probably stopped fasting prior to the game or during the game.


Understand my argument, Ole makes mistakes terrible ones but not playing Pogba against Leeds isn't one of them.

It should be enough to win a game but this is the PL. The best teams aren’t blunt in the attack and dumb at the back.

United were both blunt and dumb earlier in the season, there’s no excuse for that.

Then you look at the draws against Everton(Maguire), West Brom(Lindelof), Crystal Palace(Maguire). The Loss against Sheffield United(Tuanzebe) was the most painful.

9 points pissed away without any fight.
