Good morning all, I'm a nurse/midwife but did nursing for 18months.

I heard that if I'm to register with
NMC I will have to register as a midwife because my nursing is for 18th months.

Most of the Job vacancy I saw while researching were for a registered nurse.( maybe I'm not searching the right places)

Please is there anyone who can enlighten me. Thanks.

It doesn't matter,as far as you are registered to practice in your country of training. You can go for either the nursing or midwifery depends on what you want to practice with when you get to the UK. However there are more vacancies for nurses position

Says who?

They are but they're not actively advertising and recruiting Nigerians (no poaching again).

However, if you reach out to them with your credentials, they'll assess you and give you a placement of qualified.

Good day all,

Please I will like to connect with someone who wrote NCLEX in the US with a B1/B2 visa. I have an interview coming up. Please kindly reach me or put up how the interview went (the questions asked and response provided). God bless you.

If you are ready financially, you could enter Year 2 this month so that by November you enter year 3 and will be eligible to write HND finals by 2022. You will chat with the Vice Chancellor/ Director of my school.

*For CHEW, Public Health/Medical Assistant, Midwifery especially.

**You will join Cameroon Nurses Association on graduation.

Hi guys
Soo I have some pressing questions
1 As an intern nurse with temporary license, can NMC UK verify a temporary license ?
2 If I eventually complete my process and make it to the Uk without finishing my internship, can I still collect my permanent license from my school?
3 what documents should I get ready as I'm preparing to start the process?

Thanks.

And also, can induction certificate serve as proof of school of nursing training certificate?

Nmcn abuja can't do license verification for you with temporary license..

A distant friend of mine started his process while he was doing his internship and I went back to read Barbie's messages, she said she confirmed from nmc uk that it is possible to start the process even as soon as you pass your council exam.

If she likes
Best if she enters Cameroon, study, get licensed, get some work experience and travel out to work.

Search for the South African thread in the Travel section and ask your questions there for better responses.

Please I need Fully Funded Scholarships to study Nursing in the UK. Either Bachelors or Masters (If Possible).

Does anyone have any idea how I can go about this plus including Schools I can apply to.

I want Fully funded becos I've done my research and I found out that the 20hrs work for students might not be able to cater for complete tuition coupled with studies, clinical posting (Unpaid), feeding, Accommodation and living expenses all together so I need tution to be settled for me.

Also if not UK, am open to any other country. I was also thinking Australia.

P.S: I have first degree B.Sc in Geography and Planning but I have Healthcare Experience.

Anyone with knowledge should kindly share. Thank you.

Lagos doesn't give visa based on going there for NCLEX,dont bother wasting your time and money going to lagos but Abuja is now giving nurses visa going there for the NCLEX.
Visa application processing time is 2months plus.
P.S- now is not a good time to apply for S.A visa application because the pandemic is getting more serious there and they are canceling already booked flight
