Emani is an intl organisation working to make the whole of Lagos a safer place where people from around the world want to do business. We know that nobody cares about safety & security more than Lagosians, so Emani wishes to give them a place to talk about it

Emani want volunteers to help spread the word, sign people up, and lead the community. You will manage communities in your LGA, organise events online and offline to discuss safety and prosperity in your neighbourhood.

Emani want to know what makes people proud of their LGA, and what makes life more difficult. You now have an opportunity to lead those groups!!

Volunteers work with Emani for around 10 hours per month.

You will help Emani - Recruit people in your neighbourhood to join Emani Community Groups
Run (socially distanced) offline events to discuss critical issues around public safety and security. Organise and coordinate workshops and seminars within your local government area

At Emani, you have the -
Opportunity to help reduce unemployment as you attract investment to your community
Opportunity to work with an international organization
Opportunity to interact with people outside your immediate community.

Opportunity to attend the all-Lagos Emani quarterly summit (fully funded) Remote work which doesn’t affect your job/commitments. Monthly stipend to appreciate your work for Emani. Emani goody bag, including “I Love Lagos” t-shirt, stickers, and pens.

You are Emani’s volunteer if you: Love Lagos and live in one of its Local Governments. Have 10 hours per month to help cultivate your local community.

Over the last 3 years, The ideal man initiative have been creating awareness about issues affecting men and boys, they have created systems for raising boys to become better men.

With the help of their volunteers and supporters, they have been able to do a lot.

They have mentored over 3,000 secondary school boys through The FutureMEN Project.

Through their FutureMEN Project, they have organised seminars, webinars and programs for parents, educators and those who influence the boy child.

They have provided advocacy and education on Male Sexual Abuse in many secondary schools through Project #HimToo

They have worked with schools to create and implement mentorship systems for their male students.

Through their meet up "Guys Conversations", many young men were able to speak up and receive solutions to certain personal needs.

They have also provided scholarship opportunities for teenage boys in public schools, covering for their fees and educational resources.

And they want to even do more.....this is where you come in

Virtually Safe is an initiative by Teens Can Code that provides a wide range of online safety support, advice, programs and resources to help internet users especially young people stay safe while online.

This is a call for volunteers who would join Teens Can Code on the Online Safety School Tour and take the Virtually Safe programs to at least 300 schools in Nigeria.

Duration: The school tour will run from May 17 - May 21.

Volunteers would be fully trained and equipped with materials to teach online safety to students.

They will also receive certificates at the end of the program. If you are interested, kindly register via the link:
