Bc it's in Abuja, but I won't mind sending someone there... What's your advice? Considering I'll be doing maintenance for frequently than a tokunbo car.

And stay away from the v6 version of the EOD within the 03-05 years.

I like the avensis though but I'd still recommend the eod.

Get the 05 accord, and strictly adhere to the owners manual,if your manual says use palm oil as engine oil...USE IT,if it says use vegetable oil as power steering fluid...USE IT,if it says use ogogoro as coolant....USE AM LIKE THAT,if it says use zobo in ATF....USE IT...what I'm saying in essence is USE all that is recommend by the manufacturer manual, let no one deceive you,and your ride will serve you very well, when the suspension system gives you any sign, replace with OEM parts if possible, and K-leg will never be your portion....congrats in advance bro.

On a serious note, I want to Use full synthetic oil for it. Honda recommended 5w20... I won't know if the former owner will be using that.. So, I'll love to use mobil 1. So as to help the engine last longer

LIES

Transmission issues was majorly 2007 model year only

oil shortening was 07 yo 09 model years with the 4cylinder 2.4 2azfe engine only (US vehicles) V6 and hybrid wasn't affected. The 10 to 11 uses 2arfe a 2.5L engine which didn't have the issue. The asian camry with 2.0 and 2.4L were very ok.

Toyota generally have weak shocks except Corolla sha but camry, sienna, highlander especially when used on bad roads with high mileage vehicles expect to change shocks.

Pls advice

Avensis because it is more reliable than Accord

not a robber magnet like other toyotas

no shaft issue like accord

04 accord gear is puff puff near Avensis gear.

engine wise Accord K24 is cheaper and bullet proof though the 2az in Avensis isn't prone to oil burn like camry own.

Avensis parts expensive than Accord especially body parts.

Avensis has melting plastic dashboard.

be weary of tokunbo avensis some are converted to LHD because Avensis is an european car and they use RHD in major countries there.

why are you calling a 2004 Honda Accord a trash car,a clean Nigerian used will cost roughly #700-#800k,do you think it is easy in Nigeria now for a first time car buyer to fork out such an amount for a car,all fingers are not equal, some will drive g wagon while some will drive lesser cars, that Lexus you mentioned will not be less than a #1 million bucks, not everyone can afford that.
