Good news. Now we will know how true the media claims about the so called highly dangerous indian strain of the SCAMdemic virus really is. If after one month and our people are not still falling down dead on the streets in multitudes, then nobody should mention anything about covid again in this country!!! Nonsense. |

When Indians keep coming into this country to cart away our resources in terms of foreign exchange. An Indian novice will earn 3 million while the Nigerians doing the work will earn max 120k. Shame on the govt of Nigeria |

The appearance of the Indian coronavirus virus mutation on Nigerian shores should be a cause for grave concern because of several factors. 1. There are more Nigerian immigrants presently living in India, than in all of the EU nations and the USA combined. With the exponential spread of coronavirus infections and death in India, Nigerians living there will have been boarding flights to flee back to Nigeria in droves, alongside Indian nationals holding Nigerian travel visas, who are also fleeing the pandemic for safer shores. Many of those leaving India will certainly spread the Indian coronavirus mutation to Nigeria. 2. Once the Indian coronavirus mutant is entrenched in Nigeria, it is virtually inevitable that it will spread just a fast, and kill just as rapidly as is the case right now all over India. 3. Nigeria's underequipped hospitals are arguably in worse shape than those already swamped with virus victims in India, meaning that a third pandemic waved in Nigeria could prove to be as devastating as the one unfolding in India. 4. Nigerians LOVE to crowd together for religious gatherings, weddings, funerals, and all manner of mass attendance events, which will prove to be ignition points for the explosive spread of that deadly pandemic. 5. Nigerians, like Indians, are as a group devoutly religious and boundlessly optimistic that "God forbids bad things". That head-in-the-sand approach to all dangers will likely prove to be a devastatingly powerful catalyst for the rapid spread of the virus in Nigeria's metropolitan populations, especially now that mask-wearing and social distancing recommendations have been abandoned by 99% of Nigeria's population. 6. The density of Nigeria's population in its urban centers rivals that of India, thus ensuring that any occurrence of the virus in ANY Nigerian city, will have immediate and catastrophic consequences as the virus spreads through slums and crowded buses like wildfire in the dry season. 7. The climate, mean temperatures, average humidity, and seasonal variations seen in India are virtually IDENTICAL to those that prevail in Nigeria, meaning that the climatic conditions which have engendered the rampaging spread of the pandemic in India, are present in Nigeria thereby nullifying any expectation that the Indian coronavirus mutant could perhaps be weakened on arrival in Nigeria on account of weather-related factors. To minimize the chances of becoming a statistic, it is VITAL that all the WHO-recommended pandemic preventative precautions continue to be observed in Nigeria, at least for those who are pragmatic and wise enough to recognize all the points of similarity between Nigeria and India that are itemized above. 1 Like |
