and what Will sustain this your dream country if not for the resources of the other tribe you're belittling?...the last time I checked, the southwest Doe's not have any sustainable economic resources to be on their own. The current quota system favours them regardless of their little contribution to the nation's economy.
If you think that your leaders fighting for one Nigeria are fools, then you continue living in oblivion like Sunday ibogho and his oduduwa nation

Forget that childish propaganda that Yorubaland made of two empires beside the Atlantic shores does not have natural resources, No region in Nigeria have Natural resources more than Western Nigeria, to educate you I will list some of our resources with practical contributions to the Nigeria economy and which a Yoruba Nation will expand in 5 folds

1. Oil & Gas __ Ondo & Lagos can produce 1.5m barrels per day
2. Seaport Economy —- can generate $30Billion Lagos and Ondo
3. Cocoa - All six SW states including Kwara Kogi
4. Limestone — Lagos, Ogun ( Dangote BUA are mining it and generating income to be richest in Africa and world all are Yoruba minerals
5. Gold - there are ships mining gold in Osun, gold are also in Ondo, OYO, OGUN untapped.
6. Bitumen- largest deposits in Africa- Ondo, Ekiti
7. Iron- ore- Ajaokuta Kogi
8. Industries Lagos, Ogun, OYO
9. ICT the south west is ahead in Technology
10. Education the Yorubas have 80% educated population
11. Hospitals and healthcare the Yorubas gives you best healthcare in Nigeria.

With this few points hope you can learn better about resources in Yorubaland there are so many minerals I didn’t mention but you will find Tin, copper, silver, glass, rubber, uranium in Yorubaland as well.

I would prefer Yoruba to stand Alone, Oduduwa map doesn’t include SW alone but all Yoruba people both in North central ( Kwara, Kogi,) South West ( Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo, Ogun Osun) and two states in the south south ( Edo and Delta states) This are the people of Western Nigeria and all are captured in the Oduduwa republic map. This is because the boundaries were drawn by the River Niger. The RSA will bring conflicts between Yoruba and Igbos for resource control its best for Biafra to take the Region after the bridge ( Eastern region) while Oodua does it things in the West. Trade treaties and other diplomatic organisations can be formed.

I can see this poster is naive.. let me put some things straight here.

The governors acted on their own accord to hold a meeting over insecurory in the country.. nobody sent them there so your dream of Southern whatever is dead on arrival.

The Igbos destroyed Nigeria, destroyed regionalism, destroyed democracy and infact started ethnic tensions in Nigeria so I don't think any right thinking person from SW would want a country with such people whose only aim is to dominate and lord over others. We'd rather have Oduduwa nation, purely governed with resources controlled by Yorubas.

The Niger Delta won't forget in a hurry, the attrocities Igbos committed against them prior to biafra war, killing their men, raping their daughters and women. At a point, an Ijaw man could not lie on a bed in the hospitals, that was the level of inhumane treatment Igbos dished out to the minority tribes in the then Eastern region before they were separated never to be dominated by Igbos or any major tribe again.

Maybe you're from the indomie generation, I don't know.. but all you wrote here is trash and bullcrap.
All the thrones and stools in Yoruba land reject such.

Oh I see. The so called Niger Delta will not be quick to forget whatever atrocities that Igbos are alleged to have commited against them over 50 years ago, but they will quick to forget the atrocities killers herdsmen are committing against them today?

NO WAY ON EARTH! IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

ODUDUWA NATION AND ODUDUWA NATION ONLY!
The funny thing is, you individual saying no way has done nothing.

I've joined secessionist group years ago. I I sent msg to gani Adam and some other Yoruba leaders about Yoruba nation and they never replied backed then.

We called tinubu number and he never picked.

Many left the group saying we had politics motives.

This is the present solution we could use. We can still use our oodua currency are you folks not getting it?

It will just be like U.k . each region will be an independent country

For the fact that you're not from south west I'll consider your opinion irrelevant. We aint scared of Igbo's. Igbo and Fulani need to be watched.

We keep an eyes on igbos , the present generation of igbos are more different from their grand parents.

Which throne are you talking about?
The thrones that has oil well or the ones that went to do back door meeting with Fulani buhari?

Mr Man you better tell us you're APC / 2023 propagandist instead of typing smart azz sh1t!

To educate people is what is needed.
Regional system each region will control her resources, those things are not possible in the present Nigeria.

Nothing like that will happen it will just be like U.K and besides Igbo can't hold Yoruba down if we decided to break away further.

I don't know who is instill this fear of Igbo in many ignorant Yoruba's.

Most of the political power Igbo enjoyed in Nigeria in the past is by collaborating with the north.
There would be a good check and balance and we'll control our oil, airport , seaport, instead one gambari from the north deciding for us.

If you think Edo will want to bee under oodua republic then you're comedian .

Edo, delta will neither be Niger delta republic.
What about the ijaw in ondo state? sad

And beside what have you ever done to promote oodua country apart from typing on nairaland.

I've lived with Igbo's for decades and I have many Niger delta friends what I see here is many Yoruba posting with very little knowledge apart from what they read from history

I like your argument because it is practical... Number 2,3,4,6 is questionable because those ones cannot fair well if other region is not involved and I dont know if kwara can be claim an entirely yoruba state.
As for number ten,I give it to them...

If the Igbo could sabotage their own biafra towards getting reintegrated into nijeriya after the liberation of the Niger Delta from Biafra, do you think they will support leaving the south and being on their own?

Ask why Igbos are silent on restructuring but only interested in their Biafraism that includes annexation of the Niger Delta?

See this thread on why the south must watch the Igbos closely :
