There is one at Oshodi on the other lane just before the Army Shopping Arena. Me as a 6ft plus person, if I raise my hand, I will grab the neutral wire immediately. If I jump up small, I will grab the last two live wires. This is directly untop of the pedestrian sidewalk, where hundreds of thousands walk by every day! 1 Like |

As long as it has not killed people the government will do nothing. If you tell them about the danger, they will answer affirmatively that they are aware of it and that they are working on it. What they won't tell you is that work will begin when somebody or some people get killed by it |

I think the government from grass root is the one to take responsibility of project of this kind. If they can't do it let them report to state government, there is no way a state governor will notice everything in remote area |

Terrorist El-rufai is busy with jihadist campaigns against the South. [b]As insecurity worsens in the nation, armed bandits terrorizing different parts of the country have made a startling revelation that they have been receiving weapons from operatives of the State Security Service, SSS. The criminals told Deutsche Welle in a recent report that they “borrow weapons” from the state agents and then go to work to share ill-gotten gains together. The bandits also said some police officers have been a part of the conspiracy that has fueled insecurity across Nigeria which President Muhammadu Buhari has been accused of being too lazy to address. The report surfaced amidst widespread claims that Nigerian security forces are fueling insecurity for financial benefits. In 2018, Theophilus Danjuma, a former chief of army staff, said the Nigerian military and other state agents were actively supplying weapons to violent criminals waging a war against minority rural settlers in Nigeria’s north-central. The Buhari administration denied the allegation, but several indications have emerged repeatedly since then that appeared to show that the government was not as concerned about the raging crisis. Last week, Mr Buhari warned Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue, where armed militia elements have killed thousands and razed hundreds of villages since Mr Buhari assumed power in 2015, to either accept the controversial ruga policy or continue to endure violence with his people. Last month, Mr Buhari also stood Isa Pantami, one of his cabinet ministers who was recently exposed as a hardline jihadist and lover of Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda and other groups and persons long associated with terrorism. The typical Nigerian will come and spray millions of naira at your funeral but could not help you when you were alive. That pole should be attended to before it kills someone then you'll start looking for who to compensate. 1 Like 1 Share |

CharisEleos:. That is Nigeria for you. We need occupational health and safety agency in each state. I wrote a proposal for partnering with the ministry of Environment in the area of awareness on environment, health and safety in workplace in one of South west state, to my surprised they frustrated hell out of me even the commissioner of that ministry is a person that we know each other better. The proposal did not see green light. This is a proposal that will generate millions of naira. Honestly, this country is a dream killer. 1 Like |
