Near misses...

We were top of the league at some point and with City struggling, the path looked clear for us to seize the initiative but nope, we bottled our lead and are now 10pts adrift of City...It's note worthy to underline that this City side have been very poor in the league this season as with other rivals,tue point total over the past few years speaks to this...

We were top of our UCL group and in a comfortable position then everything crumbled and boom, Europa league football...

We played Leicester in the FA Cup quarters to a chance to face Southampton in the semis but Ole opted to rest our key men even when we had no games coming up for 2 weeks...

Lost the Caraboa cup semi final to City...

Europe league? The jury is out on us...

Now, let's talk last season;

Bottled the UEL semi final...

No, we won't make EUropa sef. The team was going to shiitt and Mourinho was at the helms of affairs. If he had stayed, we wouldn't have made a turnaround the time we did with Ole. He was leading the team into hell fire. He was fighting with the players, the fans, the club owners, everybody. No, he wouldn't have made top 4.

Wrong again. We were not on course to make top 4. Mourinho decided to prioritize Europa towards the end of the season when it was clear that making top 4 would be harder than winning the Yuropa. And winning the Yuropa was 50/50. If he'd lost it, he would've been sacked immediately by the Glazers because, no UCL money.



When he replaced Poch last season, the team was in tatters already as evidenced in their league position. They were far from top 4. Failing to make top 4 then wasn't entirely his fault. THings were bad already.

This season, his first full season, I can't say he wouldn't have been in contention to make top 4 if he wasn't sacked. He wasn't far away. But at the same time, the scenes of his last days at other clubs were starting to play out- clashes with his players, fans and club authority. But in general, his time at Spurs was underwhelming.

He definitely prioritized the UEL (Afrodoc2, handelex, Larride, Illimitable you guys should confirm true or otherwise) ...We were well on course to make top 4 but he couldn't risk going in hard for both knowing that we were an injury to a key player aware from losing it all...

It's similar to Chelsea's position at the moment, do you go in hard for the FA Cup final and risk losing or getting an unfavorable result on Tuesday?

Tuchel would've rather they're not in a position where he has to use his top players in highly competitive games ahead of the FA Cup and UCL final but at the moment, every game is just as important...I dare say the FA Cup is least important now for Chelsea...

Curse or not, Henderson is a bit overrated.

He's good, but in my mind he's not world class. Certainly not anywhere near De Gea's level.
It's because of nefarious dullards like Ole that we have a situation where a good goalkeeper is using his status as an English man to hold the club hostage forcing out the best goalie we have had since Schmeichel.

The English have never really had any GREAT goalkeepers in the true sense of the word. The last near-great English goalie i know was Peter Shilton. Even then he too was a tad overrated.

Agreed with this. If Gill hadn't left, maybe we'd have gotten good player recruitments for Nwoyes and the others. At least the transfer policy wouldn't have been as shiitty as it was.

Having said that, it speaks volumes that the Glazers replaced David Gill with Ed Woodward, a man who hasn't an iota about football and only knows how to make money.
