Dude is stewpid...Is the clown that has been carrying out investigation?

Asking Akpabio to authorize MTN and others to release call record is not only plain ignorant but also very dumb.

Is Akpabio the Judiciary that is vested with such powers?

David is a courageous young man and i am proud of his Exploit. I remember the case of Segun Oni and Ayo Salami of the supreme court and the Call log was needed to prove Tinubu influence via Tunji Ijaya on the night before judgement was passed and the access was denied till date but Salami was found to be convivial with the Tinubu camp via available Call logs but that was not enough as Fayemi was given the victory by the panel. Anytime someone makes some good points and ends with "the only thing we can do now is to pray to God for help" I just conclude that person is an idiot!!! Na diz praying to God and being afraid to speak out naim make diz country dai where e dai. We are all cowards who are scared of speaking out so we hide in our rooms to pray. Here's the thing. Authorizing the release of the voice notes will confirm 2 things.
1. That Network Providers actually record private call sessions between paying customers without their permission.
2. Make everyone realize that there's nothing like privacy when it comes to the network providers who we trust with our funds and data.

Maybe they're both the same thing but you get the point.
Look for the right and legal means to get your facts else you'll just be the same as the evil people who are fighting to keep this matter silenced.

Best of luck though.

If i may ask, is it a crime for the telcos to record private conversations?
Is there even an argument about the telcos recording conversations or not, because we know they do.
If the telcos don't record conversations how will criminal cases like this be investigated and hidden criminal acts unravelled?

Let me add, the telcos record conversations but that doesn't mean they listen in, if they do , how many conversations would they be listening in to, that must be in millions, and thousands of personnel must be specially employed for this task.

What happens is this, those conversations are recorded and archived.
A court order is needed to pull out a given conversation between individuals of interest.

Yeah! It happen vr well. I have witnessed such scenario countless time. A politician from my village use to get opposition conversation with thugs via this mean. Let them leave the conve btw the said mentioned guys but I doubt if the network will agree to do so because of the personality involved. This is Nigeria man!

stop insulting someone over what you’re ignorant of. Tecos actually record voice conversation. In 2013 it was used to arrest some Nigerians syndicate who specializes in breaking people’s shop in Deira(Dubai) the police even employed another Nigerian and they paid him well for interpreting the particular Nigerian language to English. Initially only two of them were arrested maybe because of some sort of oath they refused to confess and their phone call conversations were obtained which led to the arrest of 9 people. I believe they’re all in jail now

If the network has a recording of the conversation between Kufre and Uduak, the police should simply get a court order to retrieve it. The Telcos will obey a valid court order.
If Akpabio is actually guilty, he is so rich, powerful and connected that the so called call log will disappear! Is it not ironical that despite the barrage of petitions against Akpabio to EFCC, Akpabio is now the minister of NDDC? The sad fact is that Akpabio belong ;to the cabal of Nigerians that are untouchable.

.

Some people use to find their way around it though especially in the west (USA especially) if you don't want to be tracked. I have seen this a lot on criminal investigation channels.

Excuse me, you think when you make a call, everything vanished into thin air? Lol everything is stored up somewhere. Nobody is going through it, nobody may ever go through it, but it is there. Julian Assange made a video of that, it's on YouTube. Once you use a mobile phone, forget privacy.

You're as ignorant as the last guy.

No telcos anywhere record any conversation.

Imagine the chaotic implications for privacy, confidentiality, national security, business trade secrets, blackmail etc.

Besides the moral and ethical question and the attendant outrage, laws prevent them.

You think any society would allow south african and indian companies to come set shop and start recording private and intimate conversations that they and their staff have easy access to?

Think with your head and not your pancreas.

Yes of course but can't release without a warrant from as they say here “a court of competent jurisdiction".

Telecoms providers keep records of call log, not the actual calls. So there's a log of who initiated the call, the numbers called, the duration and location of both parties. It is technically infeasible to keep an audio record of the audio conversations of all customers. An exception to this would be where an individual was under prior investigation, hence being monitored more closely.
Akpabio or Pantami cannot simply request call records be released. It'd require a court order issued by a judge. But make no mistakes, privacy is an illusion. Nothing is private.

That's how PDP and Atiku came with allegations of results been on a server, na wa o.

Telecom companies cant afford to record every telephone conversation, come on guys.

With all the buzz that this case has generated, I hust hope this David guy isn't just catching cruise with us. Will the telephone recording prove that Akpabio owns the hotel and indict him? If yes please they should release it 100
