Another Civil War looming? Well let's take the time and carry out a probability of such outcome. If Nigeria should suffer another civil war, a lot of things will undergo starting with even the smallest of tribes getting nationalistic, for example the Ogoni people with a population of over 2 million people in number have once fought for an independent nation as far back as the 1990s agitated for their own country. This was a time not as hot as it is under Buhari's regime. Nigeria will see Tribes and ethnic groups all full of doubts for her neighbours and wanting nothing to do with its neighbour leading to more than 6 nations coming out of this country, funny as it may seem only people without sentiments will agree. Nigeria's Northern territory under intense suffering through war might see itself balkanized in two nationalities, the Hausas-Fulanis to the west and the Kanuris to the east. With each side blaming the other for what has befallen their hegemony over the south. The Ijaws have been known to be a very nationalistic tribe with some people calling them the Southern Fulanis, it won't be surprising to see them agitate to be left alone or for their neighbours to reject partnership with them to create a nation. The Oduduwa people an already large tribe will large land will have to battle at their northern territory for Kwara. The Edo people, a people known to have have their loyalty to their King and having tasted what African democracy is, won't be surprising if they opt for a return of Monarchical system of rule, they will have to work on uniting their brethrens scattered in Delta and other States who claim to have their origins from Benin. The Nigerian government should not underestimate the type of warfare the ESN has started, a dialogue is better as this unconventional warfare is very effective against conventional Armies. 3 Likes |

There's no second war anywhere and there's no uprising. If there would be a war in Nigeria, it would be the North attacking first. 6 Likes |

The golden rule of partnership is agreement of all parties to remain in it. The Holy Bible puts it that two cannot walk together except they agree. What we have is one dragging the other along. That's means slow pace movement for all. 9 Likes |

Nigeria would spilt into two or maximum 3 nations that's if Yorubas fear that south south and south east would unite against them The only reason people want out of Nigeria is the risk of fulanis taken over their land ...not really economic hardship ( we have faced worse ) ...so don't get it twisted Remove fulanis Nigeria is a wonderful idea , power house in west africa , hausas would have been far more educated if not for fulanis So middle belt n southern Nigeria would form a republic in every sense of it ...4 regions with provinces , no state , each province manage your resources n ruled by a mayor 14 Likes 1 Share |

There's no second war to start with... The political elites are not ready to fight another war most especially Southern politicians. The UGM, Bandits, Boko Haram shall pass |

Oduduwa people will beg Benin Republic for a small portion of land to build a new nation and learn a new language because their former territory will be annexed into an extension of the Fulani Caliphate 3 Likes |

Igbochief001: God bless you for this apt analysis,,, am an IPOB member, go through my post and you would see,, this NNAMDI KANU wahala started in full gear when fulani menace became nationwide and people were afraid not necessarily because their lands would be taken from dem but because their lives isn't safe, so our amiable Mazi Nnamdi kanu keyyed into that fear which is highly justifiable and launched E.S.N .... If Nigeria breaks it will affect all and sundry but the last card that the Fed Govt have up their sleeve that will solve all this issues is 1_call a confab 2_lets adopt a regional system of govt or we can shape our country like the great Britain where you have Wales , Scotland and England. 3_impeach Dullard Buhari 2 Likes 1 Share |

The Union Called Nigeria is Negotiable & Must be Renegotiated In 1947, India and Pakistan emerged from the ashes of British Indian Dominion. In 1971, Bangladesh separated from India In 1965, Singapore cut ties from Malaysia In 2002 East Timor and Indonesia went their separate ways. In 1905, Norway , Denmark and Sweden all went their separate ways. In 1944, Iceland seceded from Denmark Between 1992-1993, Czechoslovakia became two independent nations, Czech Republic and Slovakia . Bosnia and Herzegovina , Croatia , Macedonia , Montenegro , Serbia (including the regions of Kosovo and Vojvodina) and Slovenia , were once one federating country called Yugoslavia. This union came to a cruel end amidst brutal blood sheds. And all went their separate ways in the journey of nationhood. Russia , Ukraine , Georgia , Belarus , Uzbekistan , Armenia , Azerbaijan , Kazakhstan , Kyrgyzstan , Moldova , Turkmenistan , Tajikistan , Latvia , Lithuania and Estonia . These fifteen countries were once known as USSR ( Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) This union collapse in 1991, and they all went their separate ways and became sovereign nations. In 1921, Ireland separated off from United Kingdom . In 1830, Belgium and Netherlands went their separate ways. In 1776 USA seceded from UK . Eritrea is no longer part of Ethiopia South Sudan has moved on from Sudan All these separations and secessions happened for various reasons ranging from, political, economic, religious, ethnic, sociocultural, ideological differences, amidst other factors too. No nation, state or country is divinely created, they’re all human creation along various lines. If you can’t tag along, untangle yourselves. Scotland recently had a referendum in a failed bid to secede from Uk . But are still pushing. Uk just recently dissolved their marriage with EU (European Union) Catalans are aggressively pursuing a Catalonia Republic separate from Spain . So I ask, how many more blood of black men, women and children do we have to spill to keep this Lugardian fraud called Niger-Area? Some unscrupulous European men gathered in Berlin, Germany in 1884-85 and balkanised Africa for their own benefit and interest, and today, those of us who benefit from the system, are on a killing spree to maintain the status-quo, not because they have a blue print or road map to make Nigeria better, rather to make their pockets and bank accounts fatter. There are various options on the table that can make the geographical entity called Nigeria and her demography better and greater, unarguably, disintegration is ONE of them. Personally to me, I think we’ve crossed the rubicon, and dismantling this Lugardian fraud, will save lives, birth healthy competition, all facets will develop and grow according to their own pace. All facets will build a NATION in line with their values, beliefs, worldview, identities, civilisation etc. I’m persuaded to believe it is no longer a matter of ‘IF’ but a matter of ‘WHEN’. I only hope when the time comes, we wouldn’t have to go down the Yugoslavian route of bloodshed to go our separate ways, rather the Icelandic route of peace and civility. Peace ✌ 4 Likes 2 Shares |
