My candid advice, look beyond salary because the current salary harmonization for federal government agencies will make NPA staff receive same salary with those in the ministries based on grade levels. So go for EFCC where you will still be getting illegit money and legit money no matter the salary adjustments. Look beyond now, think of the future. Meanwhile I no mind any of the slots you forfeit. 0.8.0.6.4.8.2.4.0.3.1.

NPA pays better...worked there before relocating abroad.
Apart from NNPC,NPA is the richest parastatal in Nigeria reason you hardly see a Southerner heading it.
NPA is richer than at least 32 states in Nigeria.The various ports in Lagos and Onne earn in dollars and naira . Infact, a port manager at Apapa ,Tin Can,Container terminal may be richer than some state governors.
Moreover,there is less work.there as the terminals have been concessioned.It is mainly a regulatory body but provides pilotage,harbour and basically controls the concessionaire.

AP Moeller rightly is one of the concessionaire handing some of the terminals.Their salary scale would be different from NPA,which is a government parastatal and regulatory body.

Point of correction NPA is not same as AP Moller. Don’t get yourself confused.

By pay, you mean remuneration (salaries + allowances) or entire proceeds (remuneration + others)?

If the latter is your idea of pay, then God help your soul.
If the earlier is what you mean, then God help your soul.
If you mean both, then God help your soul.

You’ve confuses the question. But I will help you correct the question then answer it. There are two questions here;

1. EFCC Vs NPA (Federal Parastatal Vs Federal Parastatal)
2. EFCC Vs AP Moller (Federal Parastatal Vs Private Organisation).

For No.1 go for NPA, don’t have a second thought. But if it’s No.2 go for EFCC because you can’t compare private sector and government parastatal.
