The nurse by name Uchechi Eyioma who was reportedly killed by Security Operatives during a raid in a hide out in Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State was a strong member of Biafra.




Reports had it that she was the Zonal Welfare Officer of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Zone 2, Sunlight Estate, Rivers State. She was married with Children.


It could be recalled that security operatives raided a criminal hide out and found some wounded IPOB members receiving treatment, four of them were shot and killed including the nurse who was giving them treatment.


It is believed that the dead criminals were among those who stormed Rivers State few weeks ago killing many Police officers in a attack that seems coordinated and also burnt down Police facilities.




A senior Police Officer confirmed that items recovered from the scene include, Five registration booklets of IPOB, many charms and Arms.

It is reported that the items recovered have been deposited at the Oyigbo Police Station and would soon been transferred to the Police Headquarters
