My service year was awesome but my LGI almost ruined it.
I could recall the very first day we met our LGI during our registration and all.
He became interested in me immediately he saw me.
Note : My LGI was extremely strict, feared among Corpers and was also a married man)
Anyways, he’d call me time to time to see me but I’d decline and this infuriated him.
There was this day I was eating right in front of our lodge, he called if I was in the lodge but I lied and told him no, and just immediately after I dropped his call, I saw his car from afar . I ran with speed to the back of my lodge and hinted my lodgemates. He parked right in front of our lodge, got in, lied that he came for inspection but everyone knew he came to see me.
After this event, he’d look for excuses to spend time with me like when he added my name to those who would do some certain government contract job and we’d be well paid but takes 5 days and we were to lodge in an hotel.
He added my name and told me we would lodge in same hotel, then again I declined.
He became more angry with me.

The day he sexually harassed me was when I went to see him at his office for permission to travel for an urgent situation but he instead requested for a passionate kiss before I could be allowed to go. He locked the door, pushed himself towards me and struggled to kiss me, but I fought him, struggled with him and pushed him off and after this he told me to leave. Then we became enemies.

My LGI had been looking for ways to punish me but couldn’t find any reason to. For instance, he’d announce an impromptu meeting and would be on the look out for my absence but I was usually present .

How God Fought For Me:

On this very day, I was in my room loosing my hair when another impromptu meeting was called and this was towards the end of my service year. I grabbed my scarf fast, wore my uniform and we left for the meeting. On sighting me, he accused me of tying scarf lol

Note that, this was impromptu and many ladies usually tie fancy scarfs to our meetings. But mine was different as my hair was looking so unkempt and not worthy to be left opened like that as I had unloosed weaves.

Anyways, he told me to remove the scarf with anger, and I immediately collected a friend’s cap and just as I was about going out to switch my scarf to cap, he told me not to wear the cap but to remove my scarf only. He wanted to embarrass and mock me. I made him understand why I couldn’t remove my scarf but he refused and I went outside to switch my scarf to cap without his approval. I came back and a written query was waiting for me.

Note : Whenever anyone offends my LGI, he gives query instantly and he did this regularly then.

The queries were usually addressed to the NYSC Headquarter, which was in the Capital and about 4-5hours far away from the state.

He told me to submit the query by 8am the next day and it was past 6pm by the time he issued the query to me.
I collected it, though got this huge phobia for traveling by road then and it was during that period Corpers were warned to avoid traveling due to road accidents.

I went back to my lodge to pick up my stuff, knelt down on my knee...cried and prayed to God to fight for me.

I called my relative who lived in the state capital, she was so shocked I had to come spend the night at her place as it was too late to travel but I just had to.
I got there almost midnight, left for the NYSC headquarters early in the morning.
Immediately I stepped into the gate, I found a place to reply my query by stating reasons why I did what I did and begged for forgiveness.

I noticed my query was addressed to one man, so naturally I was supposed to look for the man’s office but the Spirit of God told me to just enter any office to explain my self.
I got into one small office, met a lady there and told her my predicament.
She felt pity for me instantly, called my LGI and apologized on my behalf. She begged him on phone for several minutes but he refused and also became angry I didn’t go to who he addressed the letter to.
The lady then described the man’s office location to me but somehow I didn’t get it, got confused and found myself in the NYSC DG’s Office.
She was a woman and asked me what I wanted. I told her everything, expecting her to insult me or abuse me. But she screamed so loud, I was shocked myself like ehhhh it seems my offense must be a serious one! But she screamed in Favour of me. She was like “ Jesus!!!! Your LGI sent you all the way from the state to the capital to submit a query based on this nonsense excuse” she was shouting seriously at the top of her voice. She dashed out of the office, reported the situation to some other staff, she was highly furious! They were all shocked and said, who writes a query with biro? They called my LGI right in front of me, shouted at him and queried him right there and also told him to refund my transport fare. The woman went on and was like, don’t you understand? A lot could have happened to you on the way, this man is wicked!
She gave me her number to call her later as she suspected there were more to this and she was going to deal with him. This is the DG of the state I was serving o!

It was a battle that God obviously fought for me effortlessly.
As if that wasn’t enough, after I left there, my LGI mistakenly called me with a shaky voice, saying “ Why did you tell that Corper to go to the DG’s office?” He actually thought he called the First Lady that begged on my behalf earlier. I replied him and said “ Sir, it is me o” he said sorry and ended the call fast.


Now this was my LGI plan that failed.
He addressed the letter to a fellow colleague that obviously lured Corpers to sleep with them. The colleague would then scare the Corper with threats of serving for extra 6 months or not being paid, until the Corper agreed to whatever they request.


I later on called the DG and told her how he sexually harassed me, trust me she didn’t take this matter likely, she dealt with him so much and he confessed to this as well.

Ever since, he’d avoid me and became extremely careful around me.

He used to be so proud and felt powerful but God humbled him .


There is no battle God cannot fight for you.

Wow! Quite long ago! Batch C ended during our set then.

Lol thanks but I don’t think it is not about being beautiful, as I heard some other ladies were giving him what he wanted but me challenging him at every given opportunity sort of made him weak and desperate to have me.

He was really cute so the female Corpers liked him but I never never ever did for once. Married man at that!

I think he was transferred or something. We just like a month or two to go when he queried me.

Ladies go through a lot! My Business math lecturer who was very old also threatened to fail me because I missed his test due to Malaria and he offered I slept with him or I carried the course.
Me I just ignored his several threats, went into prayers, studied hard as the test was 30marks and that meant 70marks left. I don’t like Maths but I had to study hard and when result came out, I had A2.

I pray God expose these men in Jesus name, Amennnn!!!
