Gunmen yet to be identified have again attacked another police station in Abia State, killing two officers on duty.

DAILY POST gathered that the attackers invaded the Apumiri Ubakala Police Station in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia in the early hours of Monday shooting sporadically, before gunning down at least two officers.

The assailants also burnt down the facility, with both vehicles and other valuables destroyed.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Geoffrey Ogbonna was unable to take his calls as at press time.

DAILY POST reports that the development came barely five days after the unknown gunmen attacked a station in Bende where several valuables were also destroyed.

Deep state at work. The desperate attempts by the DSS to smear IPOB by causing mayhem and killing sister security agencies in the east will be their own undoing. The whole world is watching with dismay of the attacks by the federal government on the eastern people and I'm sure repercussions for the terrorist Fulani led federal government will soon come.

Despite a curfew in place. Notice how all the attacks are in the early morning btw 12a.m and 5a.m when there are only 2 or 3 police in the station. Why not attack them in the afternoon

I reside in that area. The sound of gun shots last night was out of bounds. It was as if there is war. For my life, I have never heard such gun shots. They burnt everything to ashes.

This is an ignorant post. So because most soldiers have been deployed to the NE gives armed robbers opportunities to rob a barrack? The police station is supposed to be a fortress.
