don't mind that fool up there saying "do what others are looking for". Once they mistakenly have something little working out for them they turn to motivational speakers all over the internet. Whenever i see someone unemployed I don't blame them or call them lazy, look at the country we are, no light, insecurity,overpopulation, graduates everywhere without jobs, what chances can one possibly have?

Well anyways I'm more of an advocate of Online earnings!
If you have access to internet and browsing gadgets & you ain't earning @least $5 daily then it's your own undoing (FAULT) !
If you don't have a Skill set then be prepared to pay to learn how to earn.

The lady there told us to write our names .....i think i was number 27 or 28 on that list.......do y'all know what happened ...when she summited the list to her boss......the boss told her to call me and two other guys....do y'all know why they called the 3 of us? It is because of our surnames.....and thats how i and the other two guys got the job.....they send the rest applicants packing.........they gave us the job because we are lagosians........

He smiled, told me he's Igbo. Had to change name and act un-Igbo to get employed and remain employed with the LASG.

Lagos has had several commissioners and other high-level public officeholders who are not Lagos indigenes, and even have elected non-indigenes to represent the state in the National Assembly.

I imagine that if two candidates are similarly (or equally) qualified, the job will more likely go to the indigene, but frankly only unqualified or less-qualified candidates seek to ‘validate’ themselves with the BS of discrimination based on surname. Meanwhile, in other states, even simply marrying a non-indigene can disqualify you from a state job. Heck, Enugu State once prohibited even non-indigenous Ibos from state jobs.

Why will Lagos state Govt not always being sensitive to things for God sake.
We have Epe and Ikorodu centres on the list which are far extreme local govt area in terms of diatance So you expect that the people of Badagry will have to come all the way from Badagry to the closest Ojo local govt to register. You never bother to rehabilitate the Badagry express road for the people and at the same time compounding their sufferings This is just too bad Mr. Governor!
