Tyson Fury has been ordered to face Deontay Wilder for a third time throwing his undisputed clash with Anthony Joshua into serious doubt.

The WBC heavyweight champion has been in arbitration with the American for months over a contracted third fight between the pair.

Fury, 32, beat Wilder back in February 2020 to take the WBC title after their first meeting ended in a controversial draw.

But in the contract there was due to be a third clash between the pair.

That was pencilled in for July 2020 but it was delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Then it was pushed back until December but both sides could not agree on a date.

Wilder's team wanted to push it back further into early 2021 but Fury did not want to wait any longer.

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury's legal teams are set to work through through the night to salvage their summer fight.

The Brits were set to battle it out on August 14 in Saudi Arabia to unify the heavyweight belts the pair hold between them.

But the WBC champion, who took the belt off Deontay Wilder in 2020, has been ordered to complete a third fight as agreed in their initial contract.

And Daily Star Sport understands that the legal teams of both fighters are still in discussions and they're expect to continue into Monday night.

I'm not a big fan of boxing, never been my thing..I can't stand to watch people inflicting life threatening punches on one another all in the name of money and entertainment..

Nice one, fury has been running away from honoring that agreement as if he would have won the belt in the first place if wilder did not honor their second fight agreement...what is good for the goose...

Both fights are inevitable. We will gladly wait.

But I'd rather have Wilder-Fury happens before AJ Fury, Cuz AJ can take out one or two from that bout.

Deontay Wilder can’t beat Fury. Why is he working so hard to get himself injured? Fury bested him in their two previous fights.
He should stop being a clog in the wheel of progress.

Fury vs Joshua is the fight we want to see. Either can use Deontay as a sparring partner.

Problem with Wilder is that he's too strong headed. He got himself into unnecessary fights with the Gypsy king for two times, when at his age in the ring, he should be cherry picking his fights like Mayweather did and still does. He bought into the hype that his shots were more like a nuclear bomb and that somehow, he's unbeatable. His belief was that he can knock out anybody at anytime!. How wrong... I heard that the promoters of the Fury vs Joshua match wouldn't mind paying him a hefty sum to just stay quiet and allow this fight go on. Yet, he wants a 3rd go at Fury. He might get manhandled again... And that will put a final nail on the coffin of his career..

At his age, if he's promised such a hefty sum to dodge a fight, sit at him home and watch TV, he should consider that. Maybe fight the winner after. Mayweather dodged Pacquiao for a very long time, aware of how dangerous he was at his prime and only took up the fight when age started taking its toll ... Today, he's still making millions fighting YouTube stars! His unbeaten records still intact! And you can't question his abilities in the ring, because he did well to prove that beyond reasonable doubt in his hey days..
