There has been an acceptance at Tottenham for some time that Harry Kane will leave this summer. Recruitment staff have already identified which players they might be able to take in part-exchange from both Manchester clubs: Anthony Martial and Gabriel Jesus

See them turning club accountant and telling us which amount is outrageous or not.

I don’t care how much any quality player cost, pay up and get your man or fück off.

I hope Amad, VdB, Elanga, Williams, Tuanzebe and some few others have have a game to play again. The second position is on lock at least from the look of things.
Those guys need game time..

Trust Guardiola’s Iron Dome defense to counter every missile deployed and ultimately crush whatever is left of London.

If you think £150m is too much for Kane then you deserve a thorough flogging.

Things I see on this thread sha.

You better disappear for your own good if Chelsea doesn’t win on the 29th. Your wide mouth like Pacific Ocean tongue

Yes it's too much. The mileage is on the high side and probably no resale value in 3-4 years.

Unless you are sure that the Glazers will spend 150m on Kane and still spend another 150m to buy quality CDM, CB, RW this might just end up like the Pogba issue. Instead of buying 2 quality midfielders for 50m each like i wanted we spent 80m on 1 player that it took 3-4 years to get someone to unlock him.

If the Glazers are going to blow the whole transfer budget on Kane when we have Cavani, Rashford, Greenwood, Martial in attack and leave us to manage Magelof and McFred then questions have to be asked.

Buying Kane for 150m without spending money on the midfield and the defense might end up being an exercise in futility.

Pep who keeps buying multiple quality players for between 50-80m and has avoided all the Dembele, Mbappe, Coutinho, Neymar deals is not mad.

Kane's deal is similar to the Eden Hazard kind of a deal. Both of them are on the high mileage side of things. If sh*t goes sideways, you are left with a deadwood with little or no resale value, gulping a humongous wage bill
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Lana1(m): 7:15am On May 18, 2021
Yes. Let's buy Kane that we'd probably start cursing within 1 year for 150m while we still have McFred and Linduire in the team.

What could go wrong?

Well said Doc, a striker is not the must urgent need in our squad right now and it's not as if Kane will come as a bargain.

Mehn that Hazard deal is something else. We could use a Kane but not at the expense of not addressing the McFred issue, a RW and a Defender.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer answered whether he thought finishing in 2nd place in the Premier League was an achievement: "It is not an achievement, we can't say it's an achievement, we're not at the level we want to be and their are deficiencies in the group.... Now we wanna take the next step"

Thank you, with 150m, you are sure of 3 quality players from defense, midfield to attack or 2 at worst but someone wants us to spend it on Kane alone. If that happens, then, we will be spending over 400m to fix the issues we have and we all know that's it's almost impossible at this point to spend such amounts...

He is right on this one...I hope he fixes the deficiencies he has been talking about because after this summer, even his most staunch supporters won't settle for less...

This Ole quote on finishing 2nd not being an achievement is agenda worthy this morning... cheesy

For context Jose Mourinho spent ~ £350m, signed 8 players and said "finishing 2nd with that United team was the biggest achievement of my career."

Also because the board couldn't get him Maguire, he said they didn't back him angry

Have a nice day folks.

You people keep talking about the age. From what we've seen recently, football is more of value now.

We can resell a 30 yr Kane for atleast 80m provided he keeps his form.

How much did we sell a misfiring Lukaku with a bad first touch? How much was a 34 yr old Ronaldo sold? Hazard shakushaku nko?

Besides, we've not made a bid. He might probably get sold for about 120m or so.

Lol...... do you even understand points of your Argument?

How much did Madrid sell Ronaldo to Juve? How much did we get Cavani? How much did we sell Ibrahimovic?

Let's assume Hazard is available in the summer, how much you think he's gonna worth? By the way do you even think Kane is all we need to solve Team's multiple Problems?!

Kane is 27yrs old. How much you think you can get back from his Sale, if the Situation warrants it, perhaps he flops at United.

You think Every Tom and Jerry can replicate form at lower Club at bigger Club?! On Record Leicester is bigger than Spurs based on recent Achievements.

How much did Chelsea bought an in-form Torres from Liverpool and how much did they sell him?!

I don't know what this means but football is now `if you no get money, hide your face`.

I'm not saying we should buy Kane at all cost, infact our problem is not the attack.

But Kane is worth 150m.

Striker Position is not the Problem, we've got Greenwood, Rashford, lazy Martial and Cavani. McNeill is also knocking as new Haaland.

Same way the Tune changed when Nolito, Negredo, Danilo, Bravo and to a certain extent Stone and Mendy joined Man City?

What exactly should your first sentence mean?

Where did I say Kane is a must buy? Who exactly would think Kane would solve all problems?

You people should stop talking about player age and resell value abeg. It annoys me!
Our focus should be more about the player's input.

That was how many of you wanted Cavani out just because he is 34.

Talking of bigger club, for some years Tottenham was a better than united.

I don't understand the rest of your post. Be calming down abeg.
