Biafra agitation is something that no one can probably take away from the Igbos at the moment. Every generation since the civil war know the Biafran struggle. There is a huge chance the fight for freedom may not end as easy as most people think. The SouthEast region of Nigeria is occupied by Igbos. At the moment, the region is made up of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo State. The Igbos are known for their industrious and business savvy nature. Apart from that, they are also blessed with large mineral deposits including crude oil, natural gas, coal, rock, arable lands and abundance of human resources. http://uptownerd.com/2021/05/19/here-is-what-each-of-the-5-southeast-states-will-bring-to-the-table-if-biafra-becomes-independent/

Premeditated ignorance is stupidity in disguise. There was a Biafra even before Amalgamation Treaty of 1900; You may or not have heard of Bight of Biafra, it was renamed to silent the origins of the indigenous people that once lived there pre-1900. Biafra as a word, was not coined by Odumegu Ojukwu, neither did his father before him, Louis Ojukwu form that word Biafra, it is a place that actually existed, the igbos, just as other indigenous people like the Yorubas (a mock name given by Fulanis to the Oduduwa people) and the Fulani and the rest of the tribes, migrated to the land we now call Nigeria. So the Indigenous People of Biafra, was carefully coined by Nnamdi Kanu, to reflect the name a people in the lineage of the indigene -etimologically is pronounced(In the Gene) of that land. So, restoring Biafra for the people with Biafra genes - which are a mix of small tribes, including Igbos, Ibibios, Annangs,Ijaw, Opobo etc etc) whose forefathers knew this truth, which the great grand children have forgotten(shame on them) is not about what they will bring to the union, that is not as important as people wanting to exit a union that has reduced them, instead of improving them. Do you think people just wake up and choose to secede? It comes from chronic bias and oppression. The Fulani and Hausa tribes, as well as the Yoruba tribe (Fulani mock name for Oduduwa people) seem to be more inclined to negotiate a better friendship deal with the Fulanis and Hausas and share the Oil wells that unite Nigeria and by so doing, they work less but develop more from the common wealth of our Biafra territorial environment and waters. It is the reason the Biafrans want out. Legally, there is no Nigeria. The 1914 Treaty was designed for 100yrs period and has expired. My Father lost everything to that war, yet he was not a soldier, he was forced to carry the armory for the soldiers because he was a little boy. So, it therefore means I lost a better part of my ancestors inheritance of accumulated wealth to that war. Even the Crude Oil flowing from our land, which my greatest grand ancestors were boastful that will make our family the richest in Africa is now shared to foreigners. Foreigners who used to shine our shoes now consider themselves Lords of our resources. Is it bad for Biafra people to say.......I no do again? Or is it a not supposed to be okay for a people to say, 'we no do again?' Because the criminals in Abuja and their willing slaves in the States know, if Biafra is sovereign, their brothers in the creeks and swamps and forests will also say, we no do again also, and then the oil wells will be reclaimed organically by the real owners, we the people of the land, and there will be no more money for the Fulani-Yoruba marriage of advancement. If the wealth and development in this country was distributed based on merit, the Biafrans will love a Nigeria where everyone competes on a level playing field. The injustice to the Biafrans is the cause of Nigeria's problem. There is something called Collective Consciousness Karma aka National Karma - and Nigeria is paying for it right now. Until injustice stops, there is no peace, it is a Natural Law, or can you beat nature? I am just joking - One Nigeria! 2 Likes |
