The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, disclosed on Wednesday that Nigeria’s new national carrier may commence operation by the first quarter of 2022.

The minister made the disclosure while addressing State House Correspondents after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

According to Sirika, the new national carrier is long overdue and the private sector-run airline will be in operation by early 2022, with possibly cheaper rates.

He added that the new national carrier is expected to be a viable airline and is potentially poised to cater to millions of travelers in Nigeria and Africa.

According to the Aviation Minister, the COVID-19 pandemic the forced postponement of the planned date for the establishment of the National Carrier initially planned for the end of 2021.

He disclosed that the ministry would return to the council in two weeks to submit a memo with an outline business case for council’s approval.

Wasteful venture.
Allow private companies to drive the aviation industry.. You will generate much more collecting revenue than doing the business yourself.
Managers of the national carrier will see it as a national cake and loot it dry.

Focus your attention on securing lives and properties first.

Na waa o.
Every Fulani Minister wants to cash-out as quickly as possible, before 2023.
For a country that cannot pay minimum wage, how is National Carrier our problem?
Let the Private sector, which has shown it can manage such Enterprise, continue to grow it, while Govt just regulates it.

Nigeria Airways, Nigeria Air, SkyPower, etc are all Govt attempts that failed to Fly, due to Corruption.

Anyway, for a country without a President, wetin we dey expect?

We don't need national carrier. Leave air operations to the private sector. I can't think of a national carrier that makes money... even BA was privatized.

If government has a few billion dollars just burning a hole, they can pay some of the national debt, build a world-class hospital in Abuja, or even just use it to buy made-in-Nigeria good and promote our industries.

GOD bless our darling nation, Nigeria.
God bless our darling Daddy and his amiable Vice president Prof Yemi Osinbajo
for all they are doing that the evil party of looting and corruption couldn't do for many years despite our country making colossal profit.
They rather ran down our National carrier that they met workin.
FFK and your masters, all of una no go die better.
Including any politician that has stolen from our National Treasury.

Vaughanlanrewaj:
This is to thank every patriot out there doing his or her best to make this nation greater.
Your labour of love and sacrifice is not in vain.

All the Boko Haram terrorists ,IPOB terrorists and the other enemies of Nigeria will lose las las. They always lose.

Let's not rest on our oars. When they mock your effort and attempt to demoralize you and say there's casting down, tell them there's a lifting up.

When they curse Nigeria, bless Nigeria.

They and their descendants will not be blessed by the land they curse. Nigeria will not bless those who curse it. May God bless Nigeria.
God bless you.
God bless your parents for giving us a King like you.
Whether the evil ones like it or not, Nigeria will be great in our lifetime.
Again, God bless Nigeria.

Again, God bless Nigeria.
The masters in the aviation industry will be very happy with this good news, that out darling Daddy and his Vice have done it again.
