Cross Rivers State Governor Ben Ayade has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He's a political featherweight in his state , he won't be missed.

You can call ayade a featherweight but trust me, a defecting state Governor is a plus.
If the margin between APC vs PDP in cross river is 80-20 .now it is hard been reduced. And it is a plus to apc especially coming from the stronghold of your rival.
This is the main reason why pdp is not coming back in 2023 irrespective of whoever they choose .
PDP keep loosing and shrinking their small stronghold while Apc is extending their Empire.
APC defeat pdp in bayelsa on ballot a feat no opposition has done in bayelsa since 1999.
APC already have a stronghold in Edo, Rivers, . this is a region APC didn't get 25% in 2015 elections.

Mathematically with current Apc political machinery 2023 is a done deal for whosoever win APC primary.
