Op , may be you ventured into what you don't know, crypto is for investors with big heart. Pls learn it properly you won't regret it but I'll advice you not to go close to bitcoin but rather follow polymatic coin, it will be feeding you every day cause the volatility is trackable. 2 Likes |

ygowon:My thoughts as well. All the guys I know involved in crypto have slush funds elsewhere. They only invest money that they can afford to lose. However, the hardship in Nigeria has ensured the youths throw all their savings into crypto. |

Crypto is not something you invest in with your schools fees. It is a very volatile business so it’s advisable you only invest your savings. 3 Likes |

A lot of crypto illiterates spilling trash. One was saying crypto is manipulable and stocks and forex are not. Why did the sub-reddit group put up a fight against Wall Street with Gamestop if not for their manipulative tendencies on stocks? Even with forex, if you lose, you lose it all, unlike crypto- there is still a basketful of hope. Besides, with crypto, decentralisation is the main objective. Can you say the same for stocks and forex? I can't hear you. Speak up! Did you say no. Yeah, I thought as much. How hard it was for you to admit that. Talking about Warren Buffet, the man is yet to understand crypto, which is why he is critical about it. Michael Saylor said the same thing in 2013, but currently, MicroStrategy (Saylor's company) has about 110000 Bitcoin amounting to $75million if my memory serves me right. You should also mention Sam Bank-Friedman (Alameda) and a host of other crypto adherents who are making giant strides (innovations) in both the crypto and Defi space. You can also mention Elon Musk reluctantly. You can also talk about NFTs and see whether your dirty opinion about crypto still stands. Most persons speaking trash here are trying to create FUD (Fear, Doubt and Uncertainty) and make people sell off their hodlings. As an advice, don't sell off. This dip is just for a while albeit not yet over. Just looking for any of your coins that the loss is not too steep on or one that you broke even on and sell half since your school needs are urgent. Next time, don't invest money that you may need sooner. By the way, Op, how did you gain admission into school if your moniker is Failure44? You should change your name if you want to graduate. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

But rules of money: Rule 1= Don’t lose money Rule 2= Never lose money Rule 3= Don’t lose money I personally can’t afford to lose any money! But to be honest with you, this is the time to invest. Once I have cash, I'm buying some Shiba Inu coins and xrp... Only invest monies you can afford to lose, even in gambling, use such amount you can comfortably let go. As for your addiction, that's a topic for another day.[/quote] 2 Likes 1 Share |

I invested 10,000 naira into crypto early last year. I wanted to use the money for flexing, but I just used it to buy crypto instead. I have gotten nearly 100,000 naira in returns. But I am never investing any serious money. Only peanuts. 3 Likes |

You are a fool who simply doesn't know how to manage risk, investment isn't a get rich quick scheme. Some of the crypto millionaires only got money after 5 or even 10 years so stop being a greedy idiot. 2 Likes |

Ekpekus: A tweet is not a fundamental analysis. Can it form an aspect of it? Yes. Can it by itself be one? Absolutely not. That's why you know you're in a pyramid scheme Fundamental analysis involves looking at any data which is expected to impact the price or perceived value of a stock. Some of the fundamentals of stocks include cash flow, return on assets, and conservative gearing. 2 Likes |

Cryptocurrency may well be the future. But it will have to change form. Government will have to come in to issue it. Government will not support anything it cannot adequately monitor. That's actually not good for the economy. Cryptocurrency has anonymity too that government doesn't like. Money laundering and illicit money thrives in such environment. I can only invest 5% or less of my wealth in cryptocurrency in its present form. 3 Likes |

PS: Mayb some people dont know some asset canvanish over night. Its an unregulated market. If you like hold one billion of the coin, you wont get $1. Buy the DIP We warned u guys. An online currency with no real value is more valuable than currencies of countries that are rich enough to send rockets to other planets, with billions of dollars of oil and gas deposits. Explain how, what's the economic activity that leads to the rise and fall of cryptocurrency nobody can answer, apart from speculative buying 2 Likes 1 Share |
