Same here. However it goes down, Southerners should get informed so we can determine when and how we have been betrayed by our leaders so that we can punish them accordingly.

Clearly we now see that Governors have the power to enforce the ban they agreed on against open grazing.

It will be interesting to note, from this point on, the Governors who show they respect the wellbeing of their people more than any commitment to pleasing Buhari and his ruling cabal. In my head I can only think of Ortom and Akeredolu because of what both have done bravely so far.
Other southern governors will sit up by force!

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth at the fulani headquarters on hearing this news...all their stakeholders including the president will release statements soon... I wonder if cow business is not an individual one, and why those in it can't play by the rules owners of other businesses adhere to.

It will only hasten the coming genocide of the southern states.

It’s very simple Southerners are slave to the Northerners because without the support of the Northerners they political career is at risk, that why that are all afraid to enforce the ban on open grazing.
Things will change now!

So you people are rejoicing undecided

The States are not waiting for the federal police to enforce its own valid laws of course a Fulani President and AGF would not
But rather, having passed the anti grazing laws in their respective states any action taking against defauters by state securities will be valid and it will be a burden on the supreme court to order the federal apparatus to comply even vwithout the president

To be brutally honest this judgement is neither a victory for the long suffering victims of herders nor the governors. It is basically back to square one. Let me explain why.

The judge in her closing statement said a few keys things.:

A: That the plaintiff/claimant's suit was wrongly construed and aimed at the wrong person i.e Buhari
B: Reaffirms the constitutional stance that the president can not be sued as was being attempted
C: That the court lacks the power to do anything about what they are asking.
D: That it was not the job of the president to enforce open-grazing ban

The court decision seems at first to be in favour of anti grazing but look closely. The court effectively is saying your approach is wrong and there is nothing we can do for you.

The decision also implies that the State Governors should be the ones enforcing anti-grazing laws THIS is the key point made. Considering that the State governors do not officially have any control over any security agencies(besides Amotekun,Ebebu Agu that don't have legal backing yet) how will they then enforce the law?

This is what the judge failed to mention or give guidance on. In this failure she has inadvertently exposed herself as being a Buhari stooge whose judgement was either bribed or coerced or done out of fear for her career. Pay attention to the details my people.
"
The decision also implies that the State Governors should be the ones enforcing anti-grazing laws"- This is what is most important!
Calling her a Buhari stooge is in bad taste!-
She gave a diplomatic judgement which is enough to morally encourage the governors to enforce their state laws!

It's been confirmed that our AGF is a quota system SAN who knows nothing but cowtocurrency.

The list of quota system certificate holders in buhari's government is endless. You wonder why the nation is not making any meaningful progress.
The Buhari himself is also a Quota system general.

Correct. There has been precedence of Governors and leaders standing against the dictatorial orders of a partisan and bullying President or head of State. As Tinubu did against OBJ and Oshiomhole used to do as a Union leader before becoming a politician.

Governors in the south should stand their ground. Yet, as someone mentioned earlier, many Governors simply prefer to let their people down than tackle Buhari and his ruling cabal because of fear for their political future.

Otherwise this is a simple and straightforward stand-off. There is no place, in any modern nation, for open grazing of Cattle as it is destructively practised in Nigeria.

If not that Fulanis, Buhari, Lawan, Malami, Pantami, Miyetti Allah etal have a nefarious expansionist and usurpation agenda, then why is it so difficult for the North to support the ban on open grazing and embrace modern ranching and animal husbandry practises so that peace can reign in Nigeria?

I think for the ban on open grazing to work then we the followers have to closely shadow our treacherous Governors since they are prone to selling us out for their private political ambition.

Simple something. In my village down south, goats were destroying people's farms. So, they made a law in the village, any goat found roaming the street is liable to stomach justice. So everyone made gardens with gates to safeguard their goats. Even at that, some of us still jump the gate catch 1 or 2 goats for peppersoup.

Lesson Learned; instead of heating up the polity on some divisive national issues go to court and seek better clarification.

Because of the governor's parochial and selfish interests they keep playing yellow to the government because of party politics and the extent if power held by the center

Your explanation is watery, enabling laws has been put in place to give legal backings to all the state run security agencies...

You must be a fulani person from your perspective tone....
You aren't happy at all, anyways we in the entire southern Nigeria says no no to indescriminate movement of cow in our land period....
