Thanks for your reply..I actually don't know the name of the agency..it was done based on trust he have on my cousin which is the reason why he made the agent to return the 500,000 so he wouldn't disappoint the family..I'm just being calm because of my cousin but if by Monday I don't get it then I would have to get it from UKVI.. awumen:Hi.What is the purpose of this travel, for how long, does dad still work and how old is your dad?. One year bank statement is a lot of paperwork. The last six months should suffice but giving them a year is no sin. Apart from house rent receipt you need to include the house contract itself. |

Good Morning Everyone, I was told my passport is ready at the Immigration office but not yet collected because I am far to the location. Back Story I applied for my passport in Dec 2020 because of change of name( I am married), my former passport is still valid and has over 2 years on it. I have used my former passport to apply for admission and CAS, please can I go ahead and use it for Visa? |

Pls guys, my dad want to sponsor me for my UK trip, though he's my boss (MD/CEO) in the company while I am one of the directors. Though i will be attaching my 6 months salary account with sufficient balance and other necessary document from my end. Do I still need to submit any document from him apart from the letter of sponsorship, since he will transfer the money for sponsorship to my account ? |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 7:42am On May 23, 2021 |
Sanmigbola:u can add ur birth certificate to show/solidy relationship ties and a letter from your dad stating his happiness to sponsor this holiday, where u are going, when u are going, how much he is giving, what the money is intended for, if he has transferred to ur acct as well, the letter should say so, then end with once again stating his happiness to sponsor the trip just because you are such a wonderful son with reasons such as such.. |

Trinity33: Ask your contact to ship it through Nigerian shipper. It will cost him less than $40 ($4 per pound). Because I don’t think anyone in his right mind will accept a package from a total stranger (or even friends) considering the crime rate now in Nigeria and around the world. I watched videos where drug was hidden inside yams / brand new computer. 8 Likes |

owee: Hello, please do you know anyone that received a call? I will like to follow up on the outcome. I was planning to apply as well but I have been wondering if it’s a good time to apply for a vacation and what the consular officer would think. I would like to know the outcome of this so that I can make that decision. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by owee: 10:54am On May 23, 2021 |
nellytivities: Hi I was the one that was reached out to. Not sure what the final outcome is but the VO mentioned he would make a final decision once he drops the call. I also enquired when I would get my passport and h mentioned this week. So fingers crossed. However, I would advise if you can hold on applying you should cos he was really concerned why I would want to travel in th midst of a pandemic and I had to explain several times. I was lucky to b called perhaps and he didn’t conclude in his mind I might have ulterior motives. |

Please what are the things to take to biometric appointment? Is it true that I need to make coloured photocopies of checklist documents? Also, what do I do in a situation where I forgot to upload my TB certificate? Please note that I chose self service. |

Iyanu6000:Yes because you are still the same person. I assume when you did your newspaper change of name you included the phase “all former documents remain valid, public and so so so to take note.” I answer a double barrelled surname only because i did not wish to drop mine after marriage. My post study was in my maiden name and when i put in for ILR i used my double barrelled surname all i had to do was make copies of my marriage certificate/court affidavits and newspaper change of name in case of any issues. |

Iyanu6000:U cannot have two International passports running at the same time. I think u should go pick up the new one as you say it has been issued definitely it has ‘issued date’ which has started reading.... which can also be seen by all and sundry. Pls go pick up your passport. By right the other one will be cancelled without prejudice just to avoid this same thing... both can not be active at same time ma |

If i understood properly she has not received the new one just yet so with a visa on that one the other would be stamped cancelled without prejudice just like mine was.

Sanmigbola: With my little experience I had on this forum sir, why can't you sponsor your self since you have a sufficient 6 months salary account? I think you have gotten 6 month Uk Visa before which you sponsor yourself ? So why do you want to use your dad as sponsor now? |

Good evening NLs, Please i have an enquiry. My wife wants to go for MSc Nursing, but has a background in Social Science. I understand its acceptable. However my question are: 1. Will she be eligible to apply for dependants when applying for her visa ( the program starts at level 6) 2. Does anyone have any recommendations as per good yet affordable schools we can apply to? Many thanks |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Ashirioluwa: 1:30am On May 24, 2021 |
blueblood1: This your information is not true. I believe your wife needs a bs nursing or maybe health science related degree before going for ms nursing degree. I know some schools in US have Direct MSN program for selected high schools students but this is a 6-year program. |
